Greetings from Arkansas USA we seen them here perform just this summer they looked great what an experience Rich is still as gorgeous as ever...the whole band still is as well This band is the last of the greats and should be inducted into the rock in roll hall of fame the pride of Georgia
Everyone comments about Luther Dickinson, but Sven Pipien is a great addition to the band. His backing vocals compliment Rich's backing vocals really well, he's a talented bass player, and most importantly, he's a nice guy. Given the Robinson brothers' issues, they needed nice people that they could rely on and following the 2005/2006 reunion, Sven has been loyal to them ever since. But yeah, the Luther Dickinson era of The Black Crowes is unbelievable!
I love all the versions of the BCs, but my favorites include the back up singers!
oh man Josephine rocks ... i will always love MFF but this line up is so smooth with rhythm and soul .. its oozing out .. Adams keys and Sven and Steve holding the bottom is a killer ...Luther man what can i say

Badass all-time rock anthem at track 5 - even the title is hip - Rich's guitar parts and Chris's Paul Rogers-meets-Mitch Ryder vocals - fantastic - there's all kinds of melody Chris calls out the vocals as high counterpoint - & melody used to be where the French were at

Like WHO'S IDEA n STUFF like that i was trying to put a good rock n roll band together in a new state at. With JIMI page playing with them CHRIS is in my opinions underated as he is such a versatile singer he goes full throttle wide open singing there music to singing a all time favorite of even my MA LOVED the way chris sang and played the greatfull dead songs she passed away in Bremen Germany where she moved when i was 16 it was a sad day but i went walking down the streets of Sacramento California to south side of Sacramento WHERE a great band EARTHSHAKER was playing then i found steven quinlans buds we got TRAGIC TIMMY WHEAT RITCH HARVEY DRUMMER OF ALL GREAT TUENS DERICK DORGE GUITAR KING NO B.S.
