This is my dubstep remix of the song Koopa's Road from Super Mario 64. I love this game and had a blast working on this project (however frustrating it was at times).

I must say, the editing is top notch too! You play like a BEAST! I perfected Bowser's Road level, doing back flips to get on top of upper platforms, showing off to my friends when I was 10 years old when this game came out. Awww, the FEELS!!!
Thanks! Glad you like it. When I learned that glitch watching a speedrun years back, I felt so powerful. SM64 is one of my best gaming memories, so it was a lot of fun to work on this project (despite being a frustrating at times). Ocarina Of Time and Super Mario World also sit way up there, so maybe I'll have to give them another playthrough and make something inspired by them.

Yes. Yes it is. For the final fight with Bowser, I decided to use the backwards-long-jump glitch to get through the door and up the infinite stairs, so I only had to get 31 stars to finish the game! I was running out of energy and I knew I had to finish the movie fast or I would never get it done. xD

Dude, I would dance circles around those goombas! I used to watch (tool-assisted) speedrun videos and try to copy whatever I could manage before I realized what "tool-assisted" actually meant.

How Did You Make This Remix?
I used Logic Pro with Massive and East West Quantum Leap instruments. Lots of time and effort, basically.

ShapingTheSilence Could you recommend a free tool that works sort of the same to Logic Pro.?
If you're on a Mac, the easiest thing to recommend is Garageband. It's not free, but it's cheap ($5) and comes with everything you need to start playing around with production. On windows, it's a bit more complicated, but LMMS is your main choice for giving it a go. It's completely free and should work on any computer. Mind you, it's not easy to get to this level of production. It's taken me over 6 years of work and a predisposition toward music and computers to get where I am. No piece of software will make you a musical genius. Just a drive to get better and work hard on making cool stuff! It's not for all people, but if you enjoy it, go for it! :D

+Liberatingpulse just out of curiosity can you copy right music that you remixed, if the music you are trying to copy right is already copyrighted?

LOL I kinda lost the interest in dubstep but they way you have the main melody more higher pitch sounds insane. Would love to have a version I can cruise to in my car
