@@aakusterEven as a Stanford fan I still think this was crazier in some ways even though we were down 29-0 and came all the way back, by the way that's our largest comeback ever and it's with a bunch of young 4 and 5 star guys and a new HC, but we did it in double OT, this was done in regulation. Which is equally impressive in it's own way.
At least Stanford had a few timeouts to use, Colorado State didn't. Honestly, maybe Boise St. should've gone for it there on 4th.

What an unbelievable past week this has been in cfb. Miami failing to take a knee, West virginia vs Houston's back and forth hail marys, Stanford's 29 point comeback vs. Colorado, and now this, all in 7 days. Just insane.
Don't forget Ducks - Huskies. That game was pure cardiac. Ducks up by 4, go for it on 4th down and fail giving UW the ball at midfield, Penix gives the Huskies the lead two plays later, Ducks march down to the red zone and miss a FG as time expires. UW 36 UO 33.
Plus Rutgers came from 18 down in the 4th to beat Michigan St.

Awesome game! Congrats on CSU beating Boise for first time ever! Living on the East Coast I was about to go to bed when it was 30-10 then CSU scored to make it 30-17 and I still thought it was over and I should go to bed but something told me to stay up and watch the last few minutes and what a crazy ending it was. This CSU team is fun and easy to root for. Hope they continue to get more wins down the road. Looking forward to the rivalry game with Wyoming in a few weeks!
Being out east, I did fall asleep and figured I wouldn't miss much considering how it was going. Did the same thing Friday night. Woke up both Saturday and Sunday morning to see I missed great comebacks. Any weekend where the Buffs choke and the Rams win is a good weekend!

I grew up on the west coast and was stationed in Washington DC for my second assignment in the Air Force. I absolutely hated staying up until 2:00 AM to watch late west coast games. This was in the early 80s though so there weren’t too many. Have lived in mountain time zone for 35 years, it’s the best.
@Tkuhn1 I have been out east for the last 8 years. One thing I truly miss is the live sports schedule for the mountain time zone. It's perfect! Early stuff doesn't start too early, late stuff ends early enough.

This is great to see. I became an instant fan of the Rams when they played CU. They got no respect the week of that game and they came out and outplayed CU and should've won. This team has guts and never quits. Love it!

Mountain west gets no respect. Boise and SDSU have earned some names for themselves (and suck this year) and Fresno has kinda earned a name, but teams like Wyoming and Air force at the top of the conference are top 25 teams and deserve to be up there. Wyoming played Texas better than bama and their only other loss is an undefeated very good air force team, and Fresno's only loss is Wyoming.
This game was seriously over like 8 different times 😭 As a Boise State fan I had a weird feeling it was going to get interesting up 30-10

I left this game at halftime when CSU was down 17-0 and only had 4 first downs. This sport is absurd and I love it

I highly recommend watching the second half. Score was 17-0, BSU receiving kickoff.
Late blindside block by BSU player who proceeded to stand over the CSU player who was down for the count. Medical team came out. Game was stopped for a long time on the field. They were cutting off his jersey. Finally get him onto a golf cart, and a camera got the player doing a small thumbs up.
On the ensuing drive, CSU's center threw a BSU player after a fairly routine tackle, clearing the benches. It took five minutes to figure out who all got fouls, and it included the CSU head coach.
Later, a BSU defensive player got his second for seemingly cursing out a ref.
Most heated game I've seen in a while.

@RIPDixie1865 Yeah that's true, they probably would have lost in Wyoming. Every other game though they won decidedly. Wyoming is a good team so I knew that would be a tough game. I think Airforce would beat the breaks off CU, CSU and probably even give the Broncos a good game lol

Congratulations to Colorado State. Well played, and excellent that the team stayed in the game to the end. I've seen some teams that bent without breaking for 3 quarters. Then when the other team was out of steam they tore up the field.

I'm so pissed at Boise State. Life long fan. We've never lost to them. We never should've been in this situation to begin with. 21 unanswered points in 4 minutes. How does that happen? Andy Avalos is a defensive minded head coach, and yet our defense is absolutely garbage. Multiple opportunities to put the game away and we failed. Avalos sucks at time management. He used all three time outs in the 4th quarter, two of them in the last 4 minutes. Why do you call a time out when the game is almost over and you're winning? Why? And each time he called a time out, the next play or two was a score. Every time. Avalos is a terrible coach that needs to be fired.
Edit: I watched this live. Boise State has the longest active winning season streak. This is the year we break that streak. We play Wyoming (luckily at home), Airforce (Away), and @ Fresno State. Those are 3 more losses. We'll end the year 5-7. I guarantee it.
This was revenge for that bullshit 2017 loss when CSU was up 4 tds in the 4th quarter.

I'm in Canada, I never watch US college football. My best friend's in Australia and she'd been showing me rugby league and Aussie footy, so last night I wanted to show her a North American football game so she could see the differences. This was the only thing on so we watched it, we tuned in around 6 minutes thinking we were just watching a blowout that I could explain some rules. Instead we watched the entire comeback and it was amazing. Her first time watching gridiron football and it's this ridiculous ending. xD

The mental aspect of football is a bit underrated. Something like a 21-0 lead going into half-time is almost the same as a 2-0 lead in hockey. "The most dangerous lead". You take your foot off the gas, and the other team doesn't, and it's highly noticeable. Same thing happened to Colorado this weekend.

Not being an active fan of either team, I caught this game at a hotel bar in Dallas. Ended up glued to my seat because I couldn't' look away.

Notice the empty seats. This is literally the best start and most hyped season i can think of being here in my 37 years of life except when sonny lubick was brought back. This is sad this team has so much heart and literally not a single local actually supports the team. More people go watch the girls volleyball any day of the week than football. The locals are still pissed about a stadium that no one wanted or would use being plopped in the middle of city even after being turned down by voters 3 years in a row, they figured out a way to force it on the public and now it’s definitely hated an shunned by the locals.
Stanford, Idaho State and CSU all had very exciting and entertaining comebacks this week...

That penalty on the extra point try brought back memories. Back when the late Sark Arslanian was the CSU head coach, they trailed Be White U 33-27 with one play left. They got the touchdown to tie it at 33, got a celebration penalty, and then missed the 35-yard extra point. The game ended in a tie (no overtime back then.)
Also had a flashback to a more recent game -- The Piss And Miss. Elijah Moore is never living that one down.
The BYU game goes back a while… I ran into CSU QB Mark Driscoll and asked him about that game’s crazy ending.. apparently, CSU scored a TD…kicked off, and BYU fumbled, giving CSU one last chance to score the tying touchdown with six seconds left.
1:49 why don't more Onside kicks work like this? Why is everyone obsessed with kicking the ball only 10 yards and hoping for the ball to bounce a particular way? Just kick it 30 yards and let the human condition take over when trying to grab a strangely shaped object...
I agree. They put the best ball handlers up front usually. Get the ball back to where the people with stone hands are lined up.
