I am all for supporting smaller devs, especially like those within Australia and I understand that they are a smaller indie studio looking to make back the money they put into development, but how can they justify a $80-100 price tag when Resident Evil 4 remake was $80 (70 on Amazon) at launch and Tears of the Kingdom which launches next week at $74?
The pricing makes no sense business wise considering the amount of competition they have.

The only bad things about this game:
-Camera angle
-The ball
-MCG looks too small

Tackling is horrible ai is too easy to beat servers are horrible and you can legit run the length of the field without being chased this game is horrible

Been playing this for the first time today. Beat Adelaide by over 100pts, 5 minutes quarters on hard...yeesh. Hoping they patch this up a bit. Has a lot of potential.

Can’t even progress in the manager mode, every time I finish a game it crashes and I’ve gotta go ahead and smash the cats by 100+ because the hardest difficulty is trash.

Cardy an easy way to tackle is holding down the right stick instead of pressing triangle. Triangle doesnt work

I get they aren't a massive studio big ant but to charge 100 bucks for a game that comes out at launch so bugy and so clunky isn't good enough. you can barely tackle, handballs go the opposite way, you beat teams by 140 points on the hardest difficulty with their shocking control layout. really dissapointed im not expecting a game of the same quality of fifa and 2k but jeez this game is shocking

Stop sprinting and it takes a bounce automatically. Game is trash, on the hardest level I won by 35 goals and had cunnington kick 22 goals 😂😂
Just don't hold the run button too long and it will bounce the ball for you

Played this today aswell and very average first thoughts, game crashed after almost every game I played, couldn’t win a hit out and couldn’t work out the timing, maybe 2 after playing at least half a dozen games. Tackling is wack, standing next to the bloke and it just wouldn’t do it. Handballing aswell I agree you can’t aim a handball? Laggy and glitchy, played as the bombers and the quarter time break showed a bold bloke coaching looked nothing like Brad Scott!
The kicking is great though, and style is very awesome to going down the wing to hit up kicks is elite it’s visually gorgeous to the stadiums the players all look good, the goal kicking actions are pretty spot on and aren’t all just the same like the previous games.
I was excited to try pro teams but they haven’t added that yet same with any VFL teams but more patches and upgrades to come which I’m excited for I think it could be a really really awesome AFL game as soon as they get the above right. Glad I wasn’t the only experiencing the gameplay issues either. Definitely an unfinished product released to early

The fact u can’t tackle and the handballing is weird not to mention players not moving getting stuck feels like it’s one of the worst releases ever
This is my issue. My players don't tackle no matter what I do. I mean, all we can do is press the damn tackle button and they don't DO anything lol. Handballing and kicking not going the way I'm directing it. It's all messed up.
adelaide oval pitch sponsors are the wrong way around, the Good for footy patch should be on the other wing

Incredibly disappointed thus far. Constantly blue screens in game (haven't even been able to play a game in it's entirety), generated players are all the exact same bald alien, handballs don't function at all, no such this as dropped marks, players can't turn on the spot, etc...
Really disappointed, I expected better.
i was going to buy it but i rather wait and see what it's like after a few updates if it's still no good then I'll probley wont get it

Embarrassing after each Q you can’t see who kicked your goals or disposals , can’t tackle , camera angles are shit , as far as i know I don’t even think you can change players to other teams for when next year happens with trades , absolutely terrible , I hope they fix it

My favourite part is when you're trying to draw a player so you can handball over the top and your teammates leave what little space they have TO FOLLOW THEIR OPPONENT TOWARDS YOU......
