Amazing, for years I had problems with interpreting ABG and none has taught it better than you.
Dr. Daniel Sinistsky, I owe you my entire gratitude as long as ABG interpretation is concerned. After many years of trying to learn this thing, you succeeded in just 15 minutes. I'm so happy like a child you just got a box of chocolate as a present. Thank you and I won't forget your name.
It's 2021 and still, this is the best ABG video on the internet! Thank you!
Please continue making these amazing videos.
I’m an ENP working in an isolated minors unit where anyone turns up. Therefore I needed to complete an ALS course. ABG’s were the bane of my life because I don’t use them but need to understand ABGs for the course. This has been a life saver. Thank you very much for simplifying it.
Best ABG interpretation video ever. Thank you kind sir, may God bless you always!

No mention of PaO2 and O2 sat. You should say something about that too, for the sake of completeness. Otherwise the video should be titled " Diagnosing acid-base disturbances with the use of the ABGs. You should also say a few words about base excess
Mixed alkalosis and acidosis can also turn out to produce a normal ph. And you can have an alkalosis in the presence of an acidosis and an acidic blood, which could perfectly be your first example (specially in an acute setting, in which HCo3 would not have time to rise so much in order to compensate). You don't cover these possibilities.
