Wow. That's probably the best version I've ever heard. That was amazing! Celine has by far one of the best voices I have ever heard. She is up there with Whitney Houston and Adele when it comes to being able to express emotion and have so much power in her voice. Absolutely amazing... I saw her open for Michael Bolton back in 93 or 94 before she really blew up the scene. That was probably the last time she opened for anyone. These days Michael Bolton would be lucky to open for her!
What voice? What do you write about as Whitney Houston? Celine Dion with her voice did not stand next to Houston. Celine has no voice, nothing. Some kind of voiceless singing, conversation. Also the tone is annoying. I don’t understand how you can make a star out of absolutely no human voice?!

It just dawned on me that that this incredibly talented singer only had a piano and her amazing voice do the song..when she sings thats the way it is and now this Sinatra standard, I get emotional and I don't know why!! Only beautiful music combined with outstanding talent can get me to that point! Amazing, simply amazing!!
This is the voice I fell in love with. Perfect tone (richness, beauty), vibrato, resonance and power, all while being very sad and affected. I guess aging is no good for anybody. She still has a good technique and can belt some high belts, but the magic and youthfulness of the voice is definitively lost.
Her life got really hard in 2016. Up to that point, she still sang like this. She doesn’t seem very passionate about anything since her husband died, except her children. I think her husband and brother dying within three days of each other in 2016, both of cancer, and then her mom dying earlier this year, really took it out of her. In interviews now, she seems kind of listless. It’s really sad but that’s life, I guess.
