My deepest thank you to Spike Lee for this Powerful story. I have watched it many times and made sure my children watched this gut wrenching, heartbreaking time in history. Never forget!
I grew up in bed stuy, went to elementary schools in fort green brooklyn, spikes joint HQ was in fort greene at the time and they invited elementary schools in the area to see the film… this film has effected my life so profoundly, the trajectory of my life, the art I create, and also why/how/because i do what I do… the influence is insane. I met spike when I was young I was maybe 20 years old in 2005, I didn’t realize then how much spike influenced my work… I hope to meet him again.
Spike Lee, THANK YOU for bringing this documentary to life. Thank you for bringing awareness to those 4 precious little girls and their families 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Excellent Excellent Excellent job Spike Lee, thank you so very much ✊🏾💯✊🏾
great 1997 spike lee interview !!!
Getting to know the victims is well presented. Wonderful focus Spike, the best focus actually.
I wonder if the interview with Cherry (mentioned towards the beginning) was done by Jerry Mitchell. His book "Race Against Time" may also go down in history.
It marks 60 years today that 5 little girls were victims of that bombing. One survived and four passed away.
My God. Jesus is Lord.
What channel is this from??
PBS. It's Charlie Rose, one of the best interviewers ever.
Oh yeah I wondered why addie family wasn’t in the documentary.
Spike's vindictiveness against Wallace is unreasonable. Wallace totally repented and begged forgiveness for what he'd done in 1979 after becoming a born again Christian. His conversion was sincere.
george wallace's rhetoric can be almost directly linked to dozens of deaths and hundreds of instances of suffering. he does not deserve no forgiveness.
I hope he is rotting in hell
@@baberRuth oh, thank you for enlightening me. YOU get to say when repentance counts. I see.
@@baberRuth this refusal to accept apology and judging one to hell to burn forever you call Christianity. Amusing. Merry Christmas.
@@spiralsone I piss on Wallace's 🪦. 100 times &😃. Not really, just a way to say 🖕
