    I forgot to mention for phase two the set up is ace of spades on the bottom, then red black red thats the card order!!! My bad!!!

  • @georgeterbush2976
    @georgeterbush2976 Před 10 měsíci +8

    I really like the "simple" packet card tricks. It's easy for the viewer to follow since there are only a few cards. Saying that, people still get confused with the two black aces and two red aces. Instead of using 4 aces, try 4 completely different cards like an Ace, King, ten and a five.
    That suggestion has to be worthy of a like and share.

      "Magic tricks" are hard or "sleight of hand" is hard? There are about 47,392 self-working "card tricks" that don't require ANY sleight of hand - many of which are absolute killer! Like Juan Tamariz's TNT.

    This is a tough one. The double grab takes some finesse, which duh, all slight of hand does, but the problem is there's no room for error. If the two to three cards you're trying to flip get offset even a little, it becomes pretty apparent that shenanigans are afoot.

    • @foxmcleod
      @foxmcleod Před rokem

      Bicycle cards like the ones he is using have a white frame on the back and being white on the front too allows for a little offset without making it obvious.

    6:40 Telling them not to look is a bit sketchy because it alerts them that there may be a reason why they shouldn't look. One prompt that works nicely here is asking them whether they *remember* which one's on the top and which one's on the bottom. Our language is a tool as powerful as our hands :)

      @@streetmagiciandude At a recent gathering of magi here in Hamburg, one of my favorite stage personalities at the convention was Lorenz Schär, super dry so that you were never sure if he was serious or not. But offstage and not performing everyone was super genuine and helpful. Lorenz shared with us something I'm trying to implement: a trick for every letter of the alphabet. Then when you meet someone, you can ask them their name and say, Sam... and have three tricks ready to do for S.A.M. Of course you could have multiple tricks for each letter and also just skip letters if you don't feel like doing something... they don't know your system. Anyway, TLDR: Using Dr. Daley's Last Trick for D, for sure.
