This video convinced me to do a Flow FX on my LS swap. Went long tubes in a Y, to a 3" bullet resonator to a single in dual out Flow FX with turn downs before the axle. Sounds so clean and deep. No rasp, very resonable volume but the cam sounds amazing.
Get a 3-4" air filter to fit the chrome housing 400 ci and 1" tall filter costs Horsepower right angle radius into carb venturi obstructed. Nice engine good mufflers for performance sound be nice in my 64 c10 chevrolet with aluminum heads or vortecs and a 218 to 230 duration .510 lift 113+6 cam 780cfm carburetor.
I have these mufflers on my 2011 Camaro SS with a new GM performance 495 horsepower LS3 with 1 7/8 long tube headers 3 inch X pipe cat deleted into Flow FX 3 inch mufflers exiting in the stock location behind the rear bumper runs on E85 they are mild at part throttle but from 3500-6600rpm they have a clean crisp sound l got numerous compliments on how it sounded at the track in the burnout box and running the eighth mile by over a dozen people they loved how it sounds I've had numerous cars with flowmaster one and two chamber mufflers these flow FX have a much more solid sound l absolutely love the sound at wide open throttle and love how mild they are a part throttle one or two chamber flowmasters sound terrible a part throttle they have a ratty echo sound they sound good at full throttle wouldn't want to go back to flowmaster chambered mufflers after having flow FX l liked them so much l also put them on my 2009 PPV Tahoe and removed the resonator and 3rd cat it sounds perfect without being annoying
@@jeffcoatsc awesome, Thank You sir, those sound so good. I just ordered a pair of the 71225, which is the same muffler, but in a 2.25" instead of the 2.5".I plan on running an X-Pipe with them on my street 383... Much appreciated!
They change a little. Still not overbearing. They aren't really loud until wide open throttle. czcams.com/video/ANqvreszyT4/video.htmlsi=0O28hlOw7OWgAr6r

Bringing the saying sounds fast sitting still to reality. 🤣
Damn that sounds good
Good sound for a SBC.
I think this is what I'm looking for with my v6 truck. Trying to have a mild tone without the honda civic sound
The Flow FX has a pretty mild sound to it. I was expecting that to be a lot more of a beefier sound
It's hard to get the sound on video. Its really deep. The longer style FX has a higher pitch .

Part number of mufflers ?
Hello friend, a question.
As time goes by, mufflers change their sound???
They change a little. Still not overbearing. They aren't really loud until wide open throttle.

Does the flow fx use glass packing like cherrybombs?
They have fiberglass packing like most mufflers.
Like magnaflow
@@realblakrawb JDM mufflers use that too
How loud will they sound in a 4 cylinder, do you think it's very annoying?
🥫
Nice sound 👌
