Also for the active track or Master shot , in order not to see the propellers ..You
have to go to setting and change from "obstacle avoidance " to
"Composition" .There is a "shooting model setting under camera while
you are in mastershots options .

Thanks Dan, a really good presentation however the elephant in the room is no Mastershots in 4K. Wondering why you didnât mention this or is it now possible to record to the card in 4K?
To be honest with you I completely forget to mention it - I was caught up with the functionality of this mode and didnât even realise that it was shooting in 1080p. Not shooting in 4K is a major limitation. I will mention this in future videos.
Nice Video of this feature. I only wanted to add it works from 3 O'clock to 9 O'clock based on your capture spot. This is good to know if you have obstacles on the 'far side' In other words the circle is not a circle but half circle. You can use the to your advantage against a cliff or such. Also would like to know the distance from small med and large 'half circle' I plan on uploading to google earth and learning that but haven't just yet. Best Regards John

I a m having trouble creating the video using the templates. They do not seem to download or create the instant video. I am using the DJI Smart contoller. Any thoughts.

I donât own the smart controller so I canât test this unfortunately. Make sure that you have updated the controller, app and drone. If that doesnât work then contact DJI directly.
I wouldn't make a habit of using this all the time getting to fly manually makes you a better pilot but this is an awesome featuređ

I thought the master shots had three options (portrait, proximity and landscape)? Are they all just one feature called master shots and not separate?
No, it is just a standalone feature with limited options.
Sur can we turn off down word obstacel sensor
You can turn the sensors off in the settings âïž
The downside of the master shot is you can not change the color profile, right?
I donât believe you can, you also have no control over what movements the drone will perform.

You can capture sphere photos with the Air 2S, that is basically a 360 degree photo đž

No panorama :(

That is a bummer, I wonder why that is? That makes no sense - can you save the footage to a Micro SD card on the drone?
Does that limitation only apply when youâre trying to save the 5.4K and 4K 60 fps to your phone?

I think the most annoying thing about mastershot is that, depending on lighting condition, it will change the white balance during flight

It could easily be ported to Air2 but DJI just won't. They basically abandoned Air2 after releasing Air2s.

Honestly, I donât know. It is clearly a phrase that is stuck in my head at the moment.
The problem nowadays we can't fly shit in the city
Also flying above people is tricky in legal terms
Trust me I was stopped by police at least twice for flying drones
I wish there was more of an automated way to take off from a discrete place
Fly.to the subject to perform the shots automatically (regardless of obstacles or distance) and then return back home in discretion.
You just need to be more mindful when flying, I find it easy to fly around my area, avoid people and still get the shot đ
Click on MasterShots>Camera>Shooting Mode>Composition. No more props in the shot.

Yeah, that is a massive limitation - hopefully they open MasterShots up to 4K video.
Itâs always been 4K export - itâs only the automatic composition (templates) that are limited to 1080p.
