- Noah's legendary faith allowed him to look to the future as he refused to be "conformed to this world" in the present (see Romans 12:2). It takes enormous faith to build a boat hundreds of miles inland. Through his simple obedience to God's call to build the ark, Noah preached the news of a coming judgment. In this teaching, Pastor Skip challenges the notion that we can maintain a certain lifestyle as long as everyone else is doing it and calls us to go against the flow of popular culture.

Pastor Skip u encouraged me today as I walked in the early morning listening to you reminding me to be different amd not like the world. Hard to feel encouraged these days grimding at home teaching my 3 children, in a 2 bdr apt. I feel desperate and alone can't imagine how Noah felt...probably the same as me. But I rest on His promises for today.
Amen praise you Jesus and we thank you for saving us and always giving us hope and healing in this pandemic covid 19 2021 give us strength especially all the front liners worldwide in Jesus name amen
