Came for the artwork, stayed for the music. Very strongly reminds me of the late 2000's - early 2010's synth arrangers like Ezel-Ash, Dark PHOENiX and AQUAELIE. Brilliant piece!

As a person who just beated Touhou EoSD Hong Meirin(for 16th time), I felt it.
You always knock it out of the park with these remixes but I was not expecting this one to go this hard! It reminds me a lot of music from old run and gun games on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive (also kinda sounds like an rpg battle theme). Amazing stuff as always!

Happiest girl in Gensokyo right here. Probably among the more friendly characters too. Reimu'll just start throwing things if she doesn't like the way you breathe.

I really love the remix!
My only critique is that the title is a little wrong, this isn't Meiling's theme directly, but rather the theme of the stage that she is the boss of (Stage 3 of Touhou EoSD). Meiling's theme is "Shanghai Alice in Meiji 17". Other than that it was a really good remix!
Mmmm Debatable. I mean, doesn't 'Shanghai Teahouse ~ Chinese Tea' play for her in Hisotensoku? I don't recall there being a 'Shanghai Alice of Meiji 17' remix/arrange in that game (which only reminds me that there is a version of '...Meiji 17' in 'Dolls in Pseudo Paradise' for some reason even though Meiling isn't really a part of the plot, but I guess that's just how the CDs are) (I feel like I'd remember it if there was one mostly because I like '...Meiji 17' more than '...Chinese Teahouse').
It's kinda like how people can say 'Dollmaker of Bucuresti' is one of Alice's themes, because a remix/arranged version plays for her in the fighting games too.
But someone else could probably debate that the themes that play in particular locations in the other fighting games, doesn't make that their theme just because one particular character is usually there when you fight them.
I guess it's up to interpretation really(?). Funny I even mention it, since I see it the same way - the character themes being the ones that play during their boss fight (or mid-boss fight for those who are only mid-bosses...).
Edit: I didn't notice that other people were saying similar things/this isn't the only comment about this particular thing here. Hmm. Interesting

Amazing work! Just a heads up-- this isn't quite Meiling's theme. It's the stage theme for the stage she is the boss of of. Her theme is "Meiji 17".
Just sayin, this is actually Meiling's theme. It was used as her theme in Touhou 12.3 Hisoutensoku, which technically makes both of them her themes.
@@cyanadofai That was a remix of that theme, so I'd consider _that remix_ another one of her themes. Not the original or other remixes of it, as the original was never used for her specifically. Though there are ties between Shanghai Teahouse and Meiling, it is not _her_ theme.
Hopefully that clarifies my point up a bit.
