Brewmaster is actually mostly AOE abilities once you get higher level. Keg Smash, Breath of Fire, Rushing Jade Wind, Bonedust Brew, Keg Explosion, Niuzao, Spinning Crane Kick, are all AOE. The only pure single target skills are Tiger Palm, Blackout Kick, and Rising Sun Kick.
Hmm, maybe I'll keep at it then for now and switch to Mistweaver if I'm still not liking it by max level.
Even blackout kick can be multitarget if you take the talent :)
As a casual couple hours here and there player, mop remix is a blessing being able to prep a bunch of 70s for TWW is AWESOME!
ive been having a blast in this event, i got my cap gear around 5 days ago, now i am doing heroic and mythic raids daily and getting those tastly cosmetics every day ( around 66k bronze per day )
Gonna get back on my 70s I parked them at 70
Monk has been a blast. You can just stay in brewmaster all the time, do a fair share of damage, spot heal anybody, tank anything, pick up adds and never die when everybody else does. And all of that long before max gear.
Everyone knows gear is temporary mounts are forever. 1003 here as of MOP remix was at 970 beforehand. Nice channel will def be back keep up the good work.
MoP remix is fun. If you don't want to steadily grind bronze and only interested in mounts just lvl new Alts due to each alt receives 40k bronze when you hit 70 + whatever bronze you acquired during questing which should be around 30k as well.

Been doing a lot of MOP Remix this week. Finally, after playing WoW since Burning Crusade, dipped my toe into something other than DPS and made a Blood DK tank. So far, haven't wiped a group, but I find in MOP, you're either in with a group that wipes constantly, or you have some overgeared person doing there daily run and you're struggling to keep up with the DPS as a Tank. Spending most of my bronze on my main MoP character (A Mage) on upgrading the gear in hopes of finally getting into normal raids and starting my Bones Of Manniroth grind to get the heirloom weapons and possibly the Tusks.
SoO is better than ToT for easier difficulty level while undergeared. In H ToT last night actually, we had 2 Blood DKs as tanks. I was one of those. We duo'd Magaera, Durumu, Primordial, Dark Anima, Lei Shen. Everyone else in our raid was dead from the onset. Mechanics matter in ToT moreso than in SoO. SoO is very forgiving.
@@keithmeisner6833 Glad to hear that. I'm not much of a raider even on my main Dragonflight character, so I doubt I'll do more than farm SoO for the Bones & unluck my neck piece.
I did the mounts first, then upgraded my gear to max. Leveled an alt to 70, bought the toys with the bronze he had earned. Did Siege mythic, now just playing around being a god on the main grinding out bronze in HC raids to get all them sweet transmog sets!
Finished all the mounts going for mythic Garrosh just for the fun of it but gonna take a while
I've gotta ask, only because I want to get this ensemble / tmog for my warrior - which one is that? It looks clean
This is the Raging Tempest set from Primal Storms. There's an orange fiery one from War Mode as well, but I like the blue more. Weapon is Fang of the Leviathan, shield is Scale of the Earth-Warder artifact from Legion.
What's the calendar addon you use to see MoP and Darkmoon Faire on your achievement panel?
Krowi's Achievement Filter. Let's you filter a bunch of events which can be helpful reminders.
The way I see it, the ideal is to make alts and level them up for the cosmetics (I end up with something between 80-90k by the time they are lvl 70) while you gear up whatever character you choose as your main from daily Bronze.
That way I can progress my mog/mount collecting while getting closer to maxxing ilvl on my main. It's no frog farming, but I estimate that I will have maxxed out my main's gear way before the event is even close to the end.
Yeah that's what I've decided I'm doing. I want an alt army anyway so that'll motivate me to actually level them so I can get all that extra bronze while my warrior focuses on ilvl.
leveling alts does fuck all for getting the Bones you need for Tusks and Weapons.
I feel the better alt experience is not a huge ask, hoping they implement soon.
i focused on empowering myself from the start, most of my Achievements are done, just gotta focus on the stragglers (Shaohao, Anglers, Sunreavers) slowly been working my way through things. most days i get on, do my Dailies and World Boss kills for Gold Spools, then i have to log off and gold farm as i gotta earn TWW and keep myself online. my Prot Pally main is ilvl 416, working on dinging to 430, replacing my Leggo Gems with Armor, Vers and Speed.
I'm dumping the bronze on my first character (a monk) for iLvl gear, after I used like 100k for cosmetics.
The other alts im getting to 70 are just for the limited transmog and cosmetics that will dissapear with the event. I'm just missing the Class Assernals, and then slowly getting the rest of the transmog.
I only do the daily quests, seems doing raids will burn me out, but sometimes I do Heart of Fear and the Vault one.
I've been having a blast in panda land... this is something I'd like to see more of with other expansions. BFA would be awesome. I've avoided burnout by making tons of alts with full legendary gems & playing specs that I never play in retail... keeps things interesting!
Yeah I've been loving it! I'm checking out so many different classes and specs I've never played before. I'd love another Remix in the future, even if it's MoP again.
Legion and Wrath are what i wanna see done most with the Remix system, both of them were huge during their time.
I lvled a few avis as you get a 39k bronze bonus when they hit 70, I bought every mount and loads of the trans mogs, I am not going to buff up one of my chars :)
I've saved up 174k bronze to buy the 5 serpent mounts from the vendor, but part of me knows I should probably upgrade my gear with it

I have 2 accounts and for me the best way to level is running my alts through heroic dungeons with my main (444 dh). In 2 hours I got a monk to 55, which could have been closer to 70 but I was getting distracted with other stuff. It’s definitely worth turning auto loot off, looting xp threads and then looting the bonus xp after. Even doing a quick mogu’shan vaults before looting the all bonus xp will give you an extra 72% added xp
I've started disabling auto loot and running dungeons/raids on my alts. Not sure what cloak exp % is best to start looting from mail, but I figure I'll run MSV for like a week or 2, plus some heroic dungeons and then just get max level every couple weeks on a bunch of alts.
I have the same feeling as you wrt to being able to actually play your alts. With only so many times in the day, and the fixed daily goals of doing at least scenario, dungeon and raids for quests, plus heroic dungeon and scenario, I find it hard to get bronze to level the gear of my alts. Im sure that will get better though, as we wrap up all the transmogs we want to get.
I'n focusing on the extra reputations here and there, on a single character, startng with the ones that are buffed. Trying to not burn out. Im not playing retail, as I only have time to play remix ( 2~3 hours a day max ).
Once Im done with the transmogs I want, I will focus on getting a tank going to start practicing. Either Prot war or Blood DK.
As a new player I have a question. Will this gear from Remix be useful when new expansion lands? like for levelling maps? Or is it better for me to play dragonflight instead of remix now?
unfortunately they will be replacing Remix characters' gear after the event ends, i WISH my Tauren was getting 556 ilvl to take into TWW, but they decided against that i guess, as to not screw those who chose not to play Remix.
We don't know for sure how the MoP characters will transfer over to The War Within, but I don't think we'll be super powerful. The best way to ensure you'll be super geared is from Dragonflight, but you can play either version of the game though. I don't anticipate being weak when MoP characters move over, just not higher than people who have been raiding and dungeoning in Dragonflight.

Are you talking about the little info thing on the right side when I'm hovering over an enemy? That's just default UI, but can drop my UI string if you wanted.
yeah daily raids are slowing down for me too. I pretty much just do MSV, HoF, and ToES normal carries now for people leveling. also level more alts if I want.
weird that your thumbnail says ivl > cosmetics but then in the first 20 seconds of the video you said that you got all the mounts and toys that you wanted before doing gear upgrading. Lol

im doing heroic Pandaria Raids :D and upgrading my shammy healers gear and on my alts i use the bronze for mounts/mogs etc.
Does it matter if we upgrade green vs blue gear vs purple gear? Should I get rid of my green gear I upgraded when purple gear drops? Google doesn’t seem to know
I forget the reasoning, but I was told to stick with upgrading blue gear and replace greens when you can. I think it was to do with the sockets? I honestly don't remember. With epic gear, you're able to get double stats (haste + mastery for example) which can be a benefit to you. I'd only keep + upgrade epic gear if it's your best stats on it.
@@WoWAholics101 to clarify for both of you, replacing gear for Quality is a HUGE boost, just switching to Blues alone adds Primary Stat on top of Stamina. not gotten a Purple yet but it's something i want to happen, sounds so gas and i want to run around at 255% Move Speed. lol
The problem I having as a brewmaster is threat since brewmaster is pretty much death by thousands cuts, we dont gen as much aggro. It sucks.
when you're using the Black Ox Statue always cast Provoke on it will help if you're not doing that.

Healing can be super frustrating because you have to go by the pace of the tank. But it's also super rewarding when you can carry bad dps/tanks because you're a good healer.
In MoP remix I'm finding healing extremely unrewarding though since it feels pretty useless and will probably just queue healer and go shadow priest after I hit 556 armour ilvl. :)
as a tank who is 476 - full 556 gear - please do. we do not need healing at that point and idk about other classes, but i just go dps spec on my warr and faceroll dungeons that way. no point to being in tank/healer spec in 5mans when ur max geared tbh.

Brewmaster is the best for AOE.
At lvl 25, do Mogu vault for 3 days, then u have 350% exp on ur cloak. Fast ride to 70 in HC dungs after that.

Yeah that's what I'm trying now. Disabling auto loot so I don't loot the bonus XP. Think I'll just run MSV and some heroics for a week or 2 then loot everything from the mail when my cloak is uber buffed.
Imo stagger is the most unfun mechanic there is. In MoP it was really fun, but they have just kinda ruined it with how it is now.
Yeah I'm not sure if there's a specific way I'm supposed to be dealing with that or just YOLOing.

do alts, 10k bronze an hour.
use them for cosmetics and main dailies for gear
4 mounts left to collect in MoP and 4 toys left to collect. I did the collecting first but now that I see experiences from others I kind of wish I leveled the item level of a toon first and then collected after.
I think I will item level boost my main and use alts to finish the collection grind. Every toon to 70 is basically a mount because of the 30K reward and other rewards on the way to 70.
I also want to item level boost because I eventually want to get the Garrosh heirloom items that require Garrosh kills. It was on my collection list til recently.
Definitely seems like alts are the way to go for fast bronze while you have a main just gain ilvl. I went mounts & toys first and don't regret it. Still plenty of time left to do and get everything.
Mop remix is just a way for you to get all the stuff that is really hard to get in retail. It should be treated as such and also to level classes you dont have because mop remix expires, retail does not.

TBH i was gonna play legitly but after froggers and people steamrolling all raids of all difficulties i decided this game mode was a bust and a joke, (exploiters still kept ilvl and blizz nerfed everything every 2 days for a TEMPORARY Unserious event where the premise is to become "Overpowered".) and decided to get my goods and get out. I bought 5 garrosh only heroic kills carries (at 3 bucks ea) and one mythic kill so i could get his shoulders and looms, then used bronze on alts to buy the rest of the stuff i wanted and then went back to main server. i really do hope yall are having more fun than i had because it was legit fun the first few days for me atleast!
You got scammed if you paid anything more than free for heroic Garrosh kills man...

you cant beat "throne of thunde"r "durumu the forgotten" in public nhc runs. tryerd it several times when you dont have min 3 players which carry the team oan only low leveld players or low stats level 70 players are in the group you only wipe then the palyers leave and only trash joins after this wipe
Why are you using Whirlwind in your rotation as a Prot Warrior? Revenge. Whirlwind is a waste of a global and rage.
TBH until I read your comment I thought Revenge was a single target ability. I WAS using Whirlwind as a quick AoE to generate some quick threat. I'll probably still throw it out if I'm on the go since it sounds like Revenge is a frontal.

@@WoWAholics101 Yep agreed. If the mobs are behind you, WW hits them. As a tank, mobs in front of you are ideal.
My Monk "Should" get to 475 by the weekend, then try and spin my way into a mythic SoO ;)
Normal Wow: do a M+8 or higher for vault myth gear, normal retails has been kinda boring atm
Meanwhile lv20 free accounts able to farm infinitely times faster with same times less time investment than the proper lv70 setup

Remix is garbage because ilevel wrecks raids. Remove it so people can have fun again and not need a ilevel
totally disagree with this, you remove ilvl and you might as well just go to Pandaria in Retail, one shot everything.
