12 row Holmer T4 40 in russian black soil

In the area around the city of Ertil in Voronezh Oblast, Russia, Agrokultura company tested new methods for efficient harvesting of sugarbeets.
Recently, company Agrokultura was taken over by the Prodimex Group. Prodimex is a leader in the Russian sugar industry. Since then, sugar beets have been grown on the farms of Agrokultura and the acreage has been steadily increasing.
With the sophisticated cultivation methods, the yield can be increased, so the efficiency at harvest must be increased.
In addition to the six row harvesters from Grimme and Holmer, new methods were tested this autumn.
So a twelve-row complex from Amity was tested, this video is also available on my channel.
In addition, this season tested a twelve-row Holmer T4-40, which is in use together with two Bergmann Sugarbeet carts.
The machine works in 24-hour operation, so that enormous benefits can realized.
In addition to the increased capacity of the various systems, the harvest quality was also compared.
Significant is also the correct placement of beet piles so that they can be removed even in bad weather condition. In addition to the practical findings, all data such as consumption, working hours, operating costs and failures are accurately documented in order to achieve a factual comparison of the systems.
