For the number 9 ribbon to make the bubblegum, braid it is 11 inches. If you want to weave it into an already made braid in groups of 3 it is 12 inches. If weaving a white ribbon do you need to double it? it doesn't appear you do but just wanted to make sure.

You don’t need to double the white when weaving with it - it kinda does that itself with the triangle. If your bubble gum is white a colored ribbon may show through though. You can add another piece of white if needed. We show that in the senior color section of ibis video. We prefer to keep our bubblegum braids the color and weave with white.
