I gotta say Yuki's English is pretty good, often Japanese drivers are struggling even with simple sentences.
He’ll get better very quickly due to the high volume of interviews and questions, same happened with Carlos sainz

technically he's also staring at a screen if you consider modern f1 steering wheels and without people staring at screens, this team would not be able to function

He also has to stare at screens a lot. The actual driving consumed just a little part of his job. He also has to do tons of analyzing to improve himself. Watching his onboards, watching onboards of other people, discussing how to brake and throttle by using graphics. Of course, drivers are using simulators a lot, too. Modern racing is using lots of that, so drivers try to improve themselves. Those are just the things we don't see as non-racing people.
He also likes staring at a screen... for video games as he mentions at the start. :P
Man, scary if the trainer accidentally lets go of the tension band during those neck exercises.

今まで見たことは無かったから。
それにしても、彼の「走りたくてたまらなとい」というワクワク感は、画面のはしはしからとてもストレートに伝わってきた。とても良い記録だったと思う。特にユニホームを着てヘルメットをかぶり、小走りに車のところに行くところなと、まるで子供のように体中から喜びが発散していたと思う。
チームの戦略ミーティングやセッティングのミーティングなどは、高度に進化したF1の凄さが良くわかる。理解力、直観力、洞察力すべてが必要だけど、彼は頭が良く苦も無くこなしているのが素晴らしい。
それと、チームの提供するイタリア料理の、なんと美味しそうな事。
イタリア料理なので美味しくないわけがないし、こういう環境でレースに参加できるのは本当に素晴らしい。
良いチームに入った! と思う。チームの皆さんに感謝。
