One of the greatest that ever held a microphone and captivated the world!! I’ve seen him 2-3 times and still to this day this live album LOOK TO THE RAINBOW is by far one of the best live albums. Truly one of his best albums to me. This album always is in my weekly rotation and this album has hit after hit after hit!! RIP to the great Al Jarreau!
He was a genius. Your music stays in our hearts forever! We love your music, voice Al Jarreau! ❤️😊

😊❤🇯🇵🌏🎹🎸🎵🐉🐦🎹 🎵🐎😊
I have been an Al Jarreau fan since 1976 when he released Look to The Rainbow. In about 1976 when he returned to the US and did The Greek I managed to see all shows. He was phenominal every night and did not disappoint. I did all in my power to see him every time he came to a city where I was, even if I was just visiting. And I was never disappointed. I last saw him about 2014 at a FREE Jazz concert at a vacant mall. It was 1000s there and he did not disappoint. He "turned it out" and I thought that after all these years he was still kicking it. While some have tried to compare others to him, there is and will never be any comparison. BTW I start my day listening to this or the Look to the Rainbow CD every day. RIP Al. We will never stop listening to your music or forget you.
Amen Brother, Mr. Jarreau What a perfect description of a very talented individual adding to my colllecton of Jazz heroes. If such a colllection exisits.
I was and still a big fan of him back then. I liked him better before he stardom, but he was great even then.
So sad we lost this kind and incredibly gifted artist....I was Fortunate to be at the Look to the rainbow concert in Amsterdam (SonestA Dome) and this was THE best concert I’ve ever attended: the band was on fire and Al focussed, kind and wonderful. He will be missed!
Can't get enough of this Great Talent! Really wish we'd celebrated him like he deserved. He"s regarded as an international artist, teacher of Music Art and a beautiful soul! ❤❤❤ 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
It is hard to believe this was recorded in 1976. It is still relevant and good music 41 years later. Good music survives the challenges of time.
I love him. So sad he's gone. He had such humanity, humbleness & love for all artistry. We need more people like that to come forth in the world. I miss you, Al.
This Brother was always Mackin.
As a vocalist/ musician, Al Jarreau has inspired me since I first heard him in my teens. I’m in total awe of him.
Much better than this Performance is hard to imagine! Incredible musical talent: RIP
Allways alladin lamp make me cry when i sing it
best version ever. saw him in Bremen in 77... unforgettable
I pass this to my kids. My uncle did to me. I was 15 and it resonated.
MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ARTIST OF ALLTIME!! REST IN PEACE!
What a groove !! So tight !!
This past week during a memorial commemorating another friend we did an Al Jarreau arrangement of another standard (Sittin on the Dock...) and it rekindled my absorption for Al's music. That's my other friend on bass, a very young Darek Jackson!!!!
Darek, so great to see you with Al!!!!!
Al jarreau was a pure legend ! His voice is just amazing ! Love his music for always. ❤❤
In my opinion, this is the Best.
Fear not. He lives on. He dammed sure is here in my life right NOW. It is as beautiful now as then.
This drummer is amazing. Grooves worthy of Steve Gadd, powerful and yet subtle and supportive of Al's singing. How come I can't find more of his performances anywhere?
That scatting on "You dont see me" is amazing! We miss you every day, great genius of R&B and Funky! 🇧🇷
Virtuoso of all times 3 23

You will see anything this breathless in your life. I guarantee you!!!
One of our greatest vocal innovators ever, who passed doing what he most Loved, sharing Love through His most Beautiful Soul... Peace and Blessings Al..... A well deserved Peace.....
Been playing Al all day. Feels good to think of him as not having gone anywhere...he's right here in his music.
Those shiny stockings!!!🎶
That take five scat is the Most perfect thing that a man has ever said
Yes, and still amazing after my last remark 5 years ago. Hope you'll have a great 2023
This is pure genius. Tom Canning,Tommy Lipuma, David Foster and Jay Graydon were instrumental with Al's top hits.
yes. Al was so wise. He did this gig with only three musicians. It sounds like so many more, SO MUCH MUSIC!!
R.I.P. to this genious, is so sad, but, actually his voic and talent never die.
Always on our hearts, Al!!
56:21 - 1:04:23 Sweet Potato Pie 🔥🔥🔥🍠
Soooo heartbroken now. I been playing various AL videos all week, became TOTALLY INFATUATED with this performance a few days ago & downloaded Live in London & Tenderness early this morning from ITunes. So to hear of his passing moments ago has me speechless. RIP Vocal Genius
I thought of him today because it was so nice out here in LA and it made me think of his music when it's sunny and cool like that. and to come here and find out he passed yesterday. it was like a little tap on the shoulder must have happened when i was walking down the street. i will be jamming all day to you know who now!
GENIUS GONE BUT NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN!!!!
❤
R.I.P. One of the greatest.
Ésto es increíble, tiene 40 años! No escuché jamás una banda tan compacta y tan perfecta!
rest in harmony my old friend. one day we will all have to break away.
Go Al, Rest in Paradise, we'll play your music Always....
Very impressive! One of the greatest voices of all time!
Great loss for all lovers of good music ! R.I.P. Al !
What a band - that's soulmusic, body and mind involving! This man has influenced my idea, living the language of music ... ever, ever in my heart and soul! Your song, my song for ever ...
the musicians are great too, especially if wee keep in mind that they had only two days of rehearsal except of the piano player who was part of the adventure since the beginning. In my humble opinion this is the best Al jarreau video. thanks for sharing.
2 days? wow. they are so spot on.incredible.
His heart was pure music. Once it realized that it could not go on singing it probably broke, so sad...
I'm so sad, that I never could see him live. Hope Ii'll meet him .. and some others like George Duke .. when my time on earth is over too. ;)
By Al being from Milwaukee Wisconsin, many of us had the opportunity and pleasure to see and hear his magnificent voice while he walked down the Street or rode the bus. This was long before he was introduced to the world. Some Milwaukeeans that didn't know any better used to hear him perfecting his art while Walking down the Street used to think he was crazy. Now everyone knows that the MOST HIGH sent us a man who will live forever and who will probably perform for the Prophets in PARADISE. And to think, this wonderful person used to live directly across the Street from me.
GENIUS!
You were a joy to me ........ may you find peace.... love you Al
Outstanding......R.I.P.

I’ve been to many of his concerts, but none were as good as this one!
It's quite rare to have a concert without any guitarist.
Al is the guitarist.
He was an amazing uplifting entertainer, God bless his soul. RIP AJ

Is it me, or does his skat solo give anyone the feeling that he was interpreting an episode of having sex, and he reached orgasm at the drum riff? LOL...Maybe it's just me....He was a vocal genius...#RIP #Respect
