    Can we use a bearing puller in place of hammering with a rod/screw driver for removing wheel bearing ? Is there enough space between the spacer and bearing's inner ring to slide in a bearing puller ?

    Before fixing/hammering bearing in the wheel hub ,outer surface of the bearing should not be greased, some mechanics will do brazing on the bearing before fixing so that it will be a tight fit

    • @MototechWanderer

    My new Rolon chain is currently facing wobbling issues. Chain is moving zig zag. The rear wheel alignment is good. Front and rear sprocket is not bend, Slack tightness is correct. But chain is wobbling and can see the wobble in the rear wheel hub too, i changed the bush inside but issue still exist. If it's the bearing issue, then the whole alloy should wobble right but the alloy wheel is moving straight and there is no handling issues. Some said Rolon chain has this issue because it's very big chain compared to stock chain.

    • @MototechWanderer
      @MototechWanderer  Před 3 lety +2

      By your description, it sounds like the rear sprocket bearing is worne out. Time to replace the sprocket bearing. The wheel will not wobble as wheel is supported by wheel bearings which are separate entities.

    • @storymaker_____
      @storymaker_____ Před 3 lety +1

    • @MototechWanderer
      @MototechWanderer  Před 3 lety +1

      If you go through my Fazer rebuilding series, you will clearly understand how the rear section of our bikes are designed. In short, wheel rotates on 2 bearings, one on each side. Sprocket sits on a separate bearing with a collar to hold it in place.
      In my Gladiator, the bearing had broken into pieces, chain was still good but made horrific noises. It took me some time to understand. I actually was lucky the chain did not break on me like my Fazer's incident.
