Al Dubois does a great job defining the wind rotation around High and Low pressure systems.

Al Dubois was "the driving force on 'Bumper Stumpers'" from 1987 to 1990.

Notice that they started using the "Conditions in" rather than "Conditions at" for their local observations at the bottom, although they did revert back to "Conditions at" around the following spring (winter 96/97 was exclusively the black box).

I guess I take that back, once the black box was altered partway through the 96/97 winter season the classic ticker bar was reinstated.

Just noticed, if the time in Ottawa is 11h30 am, he said "Good afternoon Newfoundland, 15 seconds past the afternoon. Isn't NF 30 min ahead of Atlantic time, which is 1 hr ahead of Ottawa?

Interesting the song at 3:45 played with the original Morning report theme. I always thought It played when the "Sea to Sea" block debuted later on. Then again, I don't think I watched TWN very much during the mornings at the time.

Great seeing these old videos as always. I remember that tune at 3:45 (Man Hunt) debuted this day on Morning Report and would last through November 1997 on both Morning Report and Sea To Sea. And I think it was in early June 1996, a couple months after this video, when Morning Report got a new logo and background colours replacing the pink/red scheme with the yellow/blue scheme.
