People making out mma fighters are invincible when it wouldn't surprise me if some of them het chinned before even trying a takedown or leg kick.
You are clearly one dmfk. Boxing in MMA even taking out all the other martial arts is still a completely different animal to straight boxing. You can't protect yourself with the gloves, the Octagon is a different shape and size to a boxing ring and the canvas is rougher to account for barefeet vs shoes. Now when you add the ability for kicks, clinching (as in MMA clinching where you are not punished for retaining the hold), jiujitsu and wrestling, judo etc, elbows in clinch, the boxer would suddenly find themselves having to think about defending said kicks, elbows, knees, throws, takedowns in addition to boxing defense. Yes anyone can knock anyone else out, It's a fight with 4oz gloves. But what you are clearly to dumb to understand is the boxer would have to enter kicking range first just to get into boxing range just to land said punch, and if they didn't land a KO blow immediately, and if they entered in an upright boxing stance they would be effortlessly taken down or elbowed or fall into the clinch of fighters who have actual grappling strength and technique as well as know how to land possible finishing strikes inside that clinch. In other words the chance of a boxer like Fury going into a cage with an MMA fighter like Francis and having any chance at all is actually far less than the opposite, as evidenced by their boxing fight where Francis clearly beat him. Fury would have to land a KO shot immediately and if he didn't, being a boxer who has no concept of the level of cardio it takes to strike between grappling exchanges or after having been taken down (not that he'd ever be able to get back up) would have to land said miracle shot after somehow surviving the rest of the ruleset in which he has no elite capability or anywhere near it. Let me know when an elite boxer steps into a cage vs an elite MMA fighter because so far the last one to do it was James Tony like 20 years ago and there hasn't been another since despite the reverse happening frequently and boxers constantly ragging on and calling out MMA fighters...in boxing. Do you think they are somehow dumber than you? No. They know they would be eaten alive.
