The Parfum, does NOT PROJECT LOUD, BUT Lingers for a LONG Time. If you want a loud sausage, excluding the Elixir, if your younger, go for the Sauvage EDT, OLder, but young also, edp. But, if you want something thar won't slap people once you enter the room, but does get noticed, plus out of the Line, BEST SMELLING, NO.1, IN MY OPINION. Jesus, loves you guys!!!
Agreed! Parfum version is the only Sauvage I wear. The original Sauvage DNA is more prominent in the parfum version versus EDT & EDP, and almost non-existed in Elixir (which I am not too excited about). Parfum is also not loaded with the headache-inducing ambroxan. It doesn't project as much as EDT / EDP, which is a good thing, but it has just enough of a more refined scent cloud / trail that lingers quite a bit on me.
First time I ever wore the parfum version, I had a lady literally walk by me, stop and turn around, just to give me that ‘heyy 😉’ reaction… of course this was within the first two hours as the performance really becomes a skin scent after a few hours. Great smelling fragrance though, my favorite out of the EDT and EDP… haven’t tried Elixir but I’ve heard good things about it. There is a fragrance that I tried recently which also doubles as a donation to conservation efforts in saving endangering species. It’s Amur Leopard by Santuary, every purchase contributes to a donation for endangered species preservation like the name hints, in this case the endangered Amur leopard… it’s a great fragrance that people around me loved. Crisp apple and rosemary in the opening with a leathery woods and amber dry down. Definetly a niche fragrance for a good cause, and I would recommend anyone to try a sample out.
Elixir is the ultimate. Period. I have both and if I need a hitter it’s elixir. But with that said the parfum is great too. I’m not a sauvage fan by any means but I had to buy those two.
The Parfum lasts longer than the Elixir. Doesn’t project as heavily and is an easier wear. For more mature guys either of these 2 to a fantastic job. The Parfum is the only fragrance I don’t carry a decant of as it’s still performing after 10 hours like you just applied it. Elixir fades after about 6 - 7 hours. Which is not shabby.
I like them all except for the elixir. The elixir smells like potpourri, and is reminiscent of a holiday candle type of smell. The pafum is my favorite among the rest. Great review!

I used to dislike Sauvage, I remember of going to Aldi and I could smell a young lad with some peppery soap fragrance, I knew that he was wearing Sauvage I just didnt know what concentration. I bought a 30ml sample of this one and it’s very nice. It’s much smoother than the EDT Everything he says is true. Longevity is great. Projection is quite restrained. It’s a great date night fragrance and it is still versatile. A little pricey for what it brings to the table.
Bought my brother the edp for his birthday, 2 days later I went and bought the parfum for myself. It’s definitely softer around the edges and has a more creamy vanilla smell to it. It a way it opened a bit like an already dried down edp. I just got it today so we will see how it performs! I can tell you the edp was definitely a beast and projected maybe almost to much for me.

Some fragrances I started out with that my wife loves are D&G Intenso and way back when was the (extra snobby Abercrombie cousin) Ruehl No. 925 which I substituted YSL Rive Gauche Pour Home edt in a dark maroon and silver tin bottle.
I don't mind the performance of this but I'd like just a little more sparkle of the edt in this one without the spiciness. Also I don't like how this gives me baby powder/diaper vibes. Still my preferred version of all Sauvages.
Thoughts and tips on wearing Sauvage from a Taxi driver: If you are planning to wear Sauvage on a night out, do not apply your fragrance before you get into your taxi to the venue. Take your fragrance with you, and apply it after you have arrived and gotten out of the taxi. Later, at the end of the night when it is time to get your taxi home, instead, walk home all the way. Yeah I smelled elixir today for the first time and can't believe so many people like this it's one of the worst fragrances I've ever smelt. I do love the edt,edp and parfum tho. It's funny tho because after showering the scent that I got from elixir was much better but smells like sauvage edt with licorice.

I have the Parfum. I sprayed on my clothes inside home and then jumped in my truck. 2 days later, my wife is asking what cologne I sprayed in there but the scent rubbed off onto the seatbelt. I really want to collect the other 3 Sauvages.
EDP is the best concentration, and my signature scent. EDT too loud, Parfum on the other hand has some headache inducing effect like mosquito/cockroach spray. Elixir is good, a second place behind edp, though it has some mature vibe.
Any comparison thoughts with Gisada Ambassador, have it ordered.. Already know what the parfum smells like and really want to order and yes i know which one will be louder... 2 different fragrances or just cut back sprays on Ambassador??? Just looking for thoughts..

Not at all. I have EdP, Parfum & Elixir & they all smell unique from each other even tho they share a similar Sauvage smell. Parfum is not aggressive like Elixir but smells like Elixir if that makes sense. EdP smells more fresh. Elixir is loud, demanding.....Parfum is more quiet but has it's own it factor. I think of as the office friendly version of Elixir.
I got the perfume but I don’t know Maybe I’m bugging but I feel like the scent disappears in like 45 minutes and somebody has to be really on top of you to smell it after that I got it as a gift definitely smells good but I really don’t understand the hype
I bought edt 300ml refill nov2020 batch. Very strong alcohol like they havent let the alcohol subside a little and just bottled it. 10minutes before you can smell the real scent. I open my refill bottle to let the alcohol smell lesser but i dint know if it will work.

I like this one more than the EDT, lasted so much longer on me. Both smell good but for me it’s the Parfum version 🔥 Hands down

Dior Savage Parfum is a phenomenal scent, my top 5 scents, it projects like 7 or 8 hours on my skin and then it lasts a extra 6 or 7 more hours.
Dior Parfum is underrated. My favorite from the line honestly. It doesn’t project loud but it lasts long on me. Great review mate 🙌🏿

The Elixir is way too much of a beast to me. I love the initial spray down to the dry down. Definitely my favourite Sauvage for sure.

@@izunauchiha1982 crazy long. It would be strong for 10-12 hours for me with 4-5 sprays. I could still smell it slightly the next day even!
The edp has choked me out only once, but still my favorite
Picked up a sample @ Macys couple days ago. Was very impressed with this one out of the three testers they had. I'm wearing it tonight.
Parfum is the best of the line. EDP close second than EDT. EDT is cheap but the dry down smells metallic

The EDP was reformulated, its not worth buying definitely better edt or p.
