Hey Everyone, after my very first tutorial hit 300k views and the amount of positive feedback I got, It's becoming more exciting for me to share about the process behind my creations, this time I'm coming up with a challenge: If this video reaches 5000 Likes I will upload a template so you can drop in your own IG screenshots and create this same effect with minimum effort! Happy Editing ;) Edit: as promised , the template can be downloaded here: bit.ly/3GPdQNW
Add a radial blur, switch the type to Fading Zoom, move the center point to the bottom or below the bounding composition box, and it will create a beam haze effect similar to Star Wars. It looks very cool. I am using it for a project.
Hi mate, great tutorial! However... you worked on After Effects with a screenshot (PNG) file as a hologram and in your video example it it a screen-recording (train moves and everything). Same process but using a .mp4 file instead of a .png file? Cheers
*Great video..thx!* Although, I ran through the entire tutorial and I didn't understand the need for the "copy/paste" at 1:27 (so, I skipped over and my edit seems to have come out okay without it...not sure if that was just a recording error or actually needed?). Bottom line, my final export looks good. Now, I'm going to add in all the 'messaging' pop-ups which I guess is just a repeat of what we've already done in this tutorial. Going to give it a try.....and add some audio sound effects as well. I'm hoping I can copy/paste some of the key-frames when I start adding 7-10 messaging pop-ups to save time. Any tips on that part would be appreciated....thx again!
The copy paste there is intended, u need to get the track solid coordinates copied to the screenshot layer, this way it's placed correctly in your "3D" space.
DOF can be enabled on the camera layer, and it will affect any 3D layer in your composition, you can play with the focus distance and other parameters to adjust your depth.
my video is great except its a little to fast and I wanted to slow it down and smooth it out but the stabilizer wont work with time remapping... what do I do?
Same concept as the main screenshot, except that I place them on different position in 3D space, if you wanna take it a step further make sure to enable camera depth of field in a way that some comments are out of focus, this will give the whole scene a more realistic floating effect
first of all make sure 3D camera tracker has successfully processed your footage and a proper camera has been created, then check whether your solid color is set to 3D and placed on the right coordinates. Let me know if that helps!
I just came across this video and loved it so much but didn’t want to actually follow the steps, so I purchased the $5 Patreon. I was very disappointed due to you can’t edit anything! I had to replace everything and add my own stuff. I have used complete files before so this is not my first time. The complete file is supposed to be easy and so you can just edit it. So I was very disappointed and would not recommend anyone paying the $5 just follow the tutorial it will be less of a headache. And it’s not about the $5 because that’s whatever it’s the principal and the fact you can’t edit ANYTHING!
Hey, I'm all about encouraging people to learn rather than giving the files away, I won't be sharing any project files for this one, but please let me know if you need help while trying this out yourself

curious what project you're using it for, tag me on IG if you'd like to
how do you move the centre point to the bottom? I can only move it in the layer. I googled and didn't find anything
this is some quality post on reddit
😍

This is cool, but please make it green😍💜
not sure if I get what you mean haha
@@MDMZ the phone screen on your video, change it to a green screen for easier masking
Please Make it on Premier Pro please
you can't really do this in Premiere Pro

Very good.

@@MDMZ AH...Thanks for the feedback...gave you a shout out on my newest video for making that tutorial....thx again!
Thanks for your sharing!
How did you make the floating screen zoom in and play the video at the same time?
instead of using a still capture, I used a video, it's that simple
Ikka polii🔥🔥🔥♥️
How'd you make the mp4 file's edges rounded? Awesome Tut btw!
you can use the rounded edges mask in AE
you rr a great,, ,
After putting on the warp stabilizer and precomposing it, when I apply the 3d camera it gives me the error sign saying that the layer is not the same
try pre-composing the layer after stabilizing
Anyone help me, my only problem is how do I change that phone screen without a green screen? Beginner here. Thanks for answering.
Someone has to keep his promise
wow I didn't realize we achieved the goal, thanks for bringing it up, pinned comment updated 😉
The only problem here is you have not shown the effect by which you have achieved those curved edges. Which effect have you used?
it's all about the mask, you can play around with the corners
bro you take the photo but its a video
of ig post how is it possible
Same doubt here
Quick question, how do I perfectly replace the phone screen on your video? Is there a way to replace a phone screen without using MOCHA AE?
HAHA
Can you able to provide project files
Someone knows how to add depth of field in the png image to make it more realistic?
DOF can be enabled on the camera layer, and it will affect any 3D layer in your composition, you can play with the focus distance and other parameters to adjust your depth.
@@MDMZ Yes! I did it! I had to change the 3D render to Classic 3D. Thank u!
Hi!What version after do you use. Tanks!
Can I get that pic and vid so I can practice bcz I don't have camera to shot but I have PC.
how you make the screenshot inside the video !!
is the instruction you're looking for not in the video ?
my video is great except its a little to fast and I wanted to slow it down and smooth it out but the stabilizer wont work with time remapping... what do I do?
Remap your footage, pre-compose(make sure to choose "move all attributes to the new comp) and then stabilize the pre-comp, let me know if that works
MDMZ is there any way I can show you my end results?
@@PaytinJohnson hit me up on IG @medmehrez
MDMZ done! I’m PJay Johnson Btw
Hey Bro Plss can i get this project file of this video 🥺
the project files are available on patreon (link in the description)
But what are u using tho? To do all this?
Hey, the software is After Effects, mentioned in the video 😉
Everytime I use the warp stabilizer, it makes my video all jittery and weird. Please help
it doesn't work properly if the video is TOO shaky
Bro you didn't put for the comments pop up..i have placed a post but when i put comment image there is only tracker available not a camera is there
same process for the comments
I don't have a pc please kinemaster or any mobile application tutorial..
Can i get the footage :D
Anything special you do for the comment popups or are they all manually animated?
Same concept as the main screenshot, except that I place them on different position in 3D space, if you wanna take it a step further make sure to enable camera depth of field in a way that some comments are out of focus, this will give the whole scene a more realistic floating effect
everytime i right click it wont show uo the create solid and camera what do I do
make sure the 3d camera tracker effects is selected, and that you are right clicking on the tracking points selection
Joss bro
Bro can you give me your rec clip of mobile phone which you have putted on table in drive
check the pinned comment 😉
Hey bro can i ask you something?,after i did 3d camera tracker, why my solid color is Always moving?,or it's normal?
first of all make sure 3D camera tracker has successfully processed your footage and a proper camera has been created, then check whether your solid color is set to 3D and placed on the right coordinates. Let me know if that helps!
Hey i always have 3d must fit on comp i already fir to comp the project etc but still.
hey, not sure if i understand exactly what you mean, feel free to drop some screenshots on our discord server
@@MDMZ nvm i fix it (my video has 4k and the comp is 1920 so i need to change the resolution
