- Hello Everyone.
This is just a quick hello and to test out my new @DJI Osmo pocket 3.
I take a walk along my local beach to test it out in low light settings, as given the 1 inch sensor this camera possesses, the talk is that it performs very well. I'll let you be the judge.
Hopefully I'll be out on a proper hike in the coming days with this camera, as well as the DJI Mini 3 pro drone.
Anyway, this was just a quick hello as I've not been around for a while.
Thanks for watching.
Martin.

Nice camera I was looking to get one of this soon
Thanks for posting the video. I have the Pocket 3 myself and it's certainly a handy little camera that actually does go in the pocket! Things I've found which you may or may not be interested in. It does tend to overexpose certain daytime shots which isn't really surprising as it has the larger sensor so I've found setting the EV value to -3 or -7 helps that out. I also reduce the sharpness to -2 and the noise reduction to -1, both these settings reduce the rather 'digital' look. ND filters help of course to get the natural motion blur as opposed to the jittery look at high speeds. Usually reduce the brightness of the screen to about 25 to prolong battery life.
Hi. Thanks for watching. I did some research beforehand and have started using the settings you suggest, as I do think they work best. Still playing around with other settings and filters will be ordered soon. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
I've got to say mate that camera is outstanding. I thought you'd already switched over to the low light mode 3 mins into the video, lots of definition in the shadows and it manages the highlights really well. It's FAR superior to my GoPro Hero 10; that thing struggles in anything but bright sunshine. There's nowt like some new camera gear to help with the mojo, it's a good excuse to get back out on the trails! ATB mate 👍
Hey Ben. Yeah I'm super happy with it, it's a fantastic piece of kit. I was tempted by the Action 4 camera but as you say, they struggle in anything but daylight. This device has full 4k even in slow mo 120fps, as well as loads of other features. I've seen some decent timelapses of the stars with it which looked incredible so it'll be handy in the mountains. Also, it literally does fit in the pocket so it's a case of taking out, flip the screen and record and I'm super happy with the quality of the images. Was meant to go hiking today but it's pissing down, which is actually good as we desperately need the rain. Thanks for watching, ATB mate. 🙂
Excellent camera 👍
