You owe us, random CZcams people, NOTHING. It is only your generosity that allows the rest of us to follow along on your restoration journey. Thank you kindly. You two have a unique easy going comforting presence on camera. Your style sets your restoration channel far above most of the others. Those channels are good as well, but yours is outstanding! Your video productions move along at a great pace while not getting stuck at any one spot too long. Your videos mix in a generous amount of "after" pictures/video that displays the finished product. That additional editing effort takes a lot of work on your part and yields an superior viewing experience. Thank you for your quality productions! It doesn't surprise me that you had a few corporations/businesses "donate" their products for you to use. Your glowing recommendation of the individual that did your canvas work made me wish you had named their business as well (If you did I apologize for missing that piece). I may be buying a boat in Port Angeles as well (much smaller) and it likely needs new canvas.
-Respectfully
Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm happy to see you appreciate the extra effort we put in! We didn't mention him because he went out of business and disappeared from what we could tell. If you'll be in Port Angeles, then we can definitely provide whatever recommendations we have on local businesses. You can email us at contact@seekingseas.com.
Boat is looking fantastic, you both should feel proud for all you have accomplished.
As someone who tried to restore a 39ft gaff-rigged ketch in Marbella on and off during several years in the eighties with quite a lot of help, and finally abandonning the project, I am speechless with admiration. You seem to achieve in a morning what I barely achieved in a week.
Good to see you guys are back! Looking forward to more projects / videos. Cheers!
Holy s*** I was starting to get worried if you guys were dead or something. 😮 But I'm happy to see y'all still alive and are going to continue the series.
Without being too cloying you are the most lovely couple I have ever checked out! So impressive with Jesse's engineering skills and Hannah's electronic knowledge + skills explaining in a simple uncomplicated way! Excellent reporting! I used to love tinkering when I was younger building small aircraft and understanding how everything worked! A large motor launch abandoned for 40 years is especially impressive. Therefore, it is most satisfying to see that the boat is rising like a phoenix!
She's looking better and better; your hard work is paying off! Good thinking using plywood on the overhead. I did the headliners on these boats and you wouldn't want to mess with the vinyl cloth yourselves- big pain! Love the color schemes; the blue piping on the cushions looks great! I hope you get a chance to do some cruising this summer; you're awfully close to some great places to go. Smooth sailing!
welcome back. boat looks so good already. cant wait to see you guys take it to next step.
Welcome back! Looking forward to watching the continuation of the renovation. Glad you’re both well.
Y’all have really done a great job on a ton of stuff. Bravo
So great to see you back, you guys are such a lovely couple.
So happy you guys are back.
Hey guys. I’ve binged watch your whole entire episodes. I’m a navy veteran. I really enjoy how folks like you restore old boats. You guys did a fantastic job doing so. I’m looking forward to see you take the boat out and see how well it performs. Until the next episode. Fair winds and following seas.
Wow you two have put a huge amount of work in this boat, kudos to you for bringing it back to life and you’re going to enjoy cruising on it when it’s completely finished, it’s a labor of love, great job!
The boat is looking great! Thanks for saving her!
Hi guys, so great to see you're back. I was worried something bad may have happened. Totally understand, life happens and things don't always go to plan. Looking forward to seeing the next video. Take care and welcome back. 👋🥳🎉💖💖

Very nice and it's great to see the latest update on the project. You guys are making great progress. Hopefully you will get more time this summer to get your boat restoration closer to completion. It is really going to be nice when the hard work and expense is behind you. It will happen.
Keep up the good work, glad to hear back from you guys!
Good to see you guys are back!
You guys are fantastic!! Living the salt life dream!! But after it’s all said and done, you have made a wonderful on the water home for a lot less than a home mortgage!!
I kept checking for a new upload! This made my day!
Thanks for sharing all that you have done. My wife and I are in the same boat. We have done what you have done and tried some things you did. DIY on a boat just makes you feel good. It’s all you and makes it a special boat. May you get many years out of her and each other!
You’re back, outstanding

So happy to see more videos from you guys! Some paint and the topsides will look amazing, if you don't burn down the boat before then :) Man you got lucky with that heatlamp. Could've been a disaster! Looking forward to more content!
Thank you for watching! We were really freaked out and thankful we noticed when we did.
It's been so long since I've seen a video from you, glad to see you're still at it. Boat on!

You guys "Rocked" everything. .I sat here today and watched every episode from 1 to 19 and can't wait to see more. I cannot believe someone was living in such grotesque conditions. Detriot engines, YES SIR !
Ребята вы просто молодцы !!! Ждем выхода в море.
it"s gonna be really nice when ever it's finished..
The upholstery work on your boat looks great, it certainly isn’t cheap. I only have a 23’ boat, a wrap around bench in the front of my boat, 2 person captains seat, and another two person bench. I was quoted $6300 and $7800, to reupholster and cushion mine. My jaw just about hit the floor. I didn’t get it done, I figured it was nothing to it, so I tried doing one myself, and it looks awful.😂
I look forward to seeing your future projects, especially the exterior flooring, and paint. I’ve seen something similar, or possibly the same stuff as your flooring sample. On a few of the DIY boat CZcams channel. They also used a light & dark, gray, all 3 colors looked great. BOL
I hear you! Our first quote was 12k 😵 but the person we ended up going with was $6000 for the canvassing and another $1300 for the upholstery. It's still not cheap, but I think it made a huge difference.
It's great to see you two agian. I've bought the smaller version of your boat. And watched your videos a few times wishing you'd do another video. Glad to see you both agian. From NZ
Thank you! Wow I didn't know Uniflites were in New Zealand, very cool!
I guess they aren't. Not completely the same kind of boat as yours but similar.
Mines a Bayliner 2958 command bridge.
I’m glad to see Mr Crowley , and you guys too ! I’m getting ready to restore a 1985 Chris Craft 315 Commander , ironically I grew up on a 1984 and got my fathers old slip . I’m thinking of starting to video it but have no idea how to start !
Welcome back !! We missed you. You guys have really done a nice job on the boat and she is looking good. Have a great summer and please post when you can.
Thank you! Will do!
you're back, you're back. YEAHHHHHH. Looking forward for more ^^
Thank you for sharing. God bless the 3 of you and many happy years with your beautiful boat.
Nice to see you again, greetings from sweden😊
I respect anyone who is willing to restore instead of buying new.
The old stuff is better anyway.😊
You guys are really doing a good job! Keep it up!
Woo hoo! I was just wondering about you two the other day. Ok mostly Crowley 😂😂😂. Glad to see you back.
Welcome back! Amazing job, the boat is really coming together nicely. Can't wait for more updates and to see that new paint on the boat in the colors you really want, plus the naming of your boat should be special. Cheers!
A portable grill outside sounds fantastic anyways. Nothing like cooking a fresh catch on a grill. :)
Thank you!! The portable grill is great, especially when our stove doesn't work (maybe?)
So nice to see that you are back. Great job. Greatings from Belgium
Definitely invest in a high water alarm that alerts you on your phone when you’re not on the boat, could save your vessel if something happens.
As for your heating and cooling situation, forced air isn’t ideal but you can look at a mini split. You’d have to find a good spot to mount the condenser/head pump unit.
🦘🇦🇺First time in, and you guys have really put a lot of work into that boat. Seems there wasn’t a place that needed work. Great job, well done. Hope you have decades of enjoyment on the water. 🙏
Very nice. Good to see the new progress
Hey Sean, thanks!
Glad to see your back, Great work so far. For heating, you should consider either a diesel hydronic system which burns diesel to make hot water and uses this to circulate around the boat to produce heat. Or a cheaper alternative would just be a forced air diesel heater. Which burns diesel to create heat blows it through duct work. The hardest part is mounting the heater in the engine room and creating a path for the exhaust.
Woop woop. You guys are back, hope everything has been good. Also for the heat solution, get yourselves a diesel heater for campers.
Just binged all of your videos lol. I love these so much. I was so glad to see the recent update on the boat, it looks fantastic! And holy smokes Hannah, you should do modeling work on the side! So excited to see future progress.
Amazing work...great job!! I was hoping you guys would be back with an update!!!!
Glad to see that you are back and your boat did not burn down. Great job!
Us too! Thank you.
10:20 You could put marble on top of the counter, it goes very well with the wood and would give it a luxurious feel
My first view of your channel. That looks like the 42 Uniflite that my uncle had in Poulsbo, WA. A great boat, actually was more of a Ship, than a boat. You are doing a great job and gaining huge sweat equity.
Great progress guys! Congratulations!
Holy Cow - finally an update - Wooooo hoooooo
When. I saw the heat lamp in the forward head I thought there's a fire waiting to start. Get rid of it fast as you can. So many fires get started by heat lamps, both marine and residential. Great work you’re doing on the boat.
Thanks for the tips!
Nice Job! We have 1988 Jefferson 42 that we have worked on for the past 4 years. As a suggestion- We enjoy cooking in a large covered electric skillet. You can make grill sandwiches, breakfast, and many one pot meals when the weather is not cooperating, and it stows out of the way. a crock pot is also a standby. Keep up the awesome work!!
Great to see a video again!!
Think you should go with oil radiators, they are alot more power efficiency and stores heat alot longer.
Just a quick thing. If there is a fire, and you have to use the emergency hatch, I really dont think its a good place to store life jackets inside the boat so you have to go in there to get them, they should be like in the back of the boat in the compartments you showed in the beginning, or even get some to put in your sleeping area.
The burned door, just cut it out and mount a window =)
Great job in restoring the yacht!
Been hoping you guys would start posting again. I see Crowley! Looking forward to watching your journey.
🐈⬛️
12/25/23 Merry Christmas and have a happy and healthy new year. I congratulate the both of you . Having a boat like you have is constant work and I'll add pleasure. When its a team effort its fabulous. I look forword to your next video. Enjoy the journey.
I have done a similar thing years ago, a 1973 Trojan F31, many summers of fun.
I like your approach and enjoy the end result,😊
Nothing more expensive than a free boat 😊
You 2 kids are so smart. Very impressed with your knowledge and work efforts 👌
Glad to see you back and the progress you've made.
Since you ask for input from the viewers, you may want to reach out to Gus from "In too deep". He is a fellow youtuber about his boating adventures, a mechanic and would be extremely helpful in answering any questions you may have; just by watching his channel.
Good luck with everything!
Thank you! We'll check him out!
Missed your show!
I just did the same thing to a used barn find Grady White. 1987 major clean up. Good job on cleaning your boat.
Hi Guys. I have done this on a 47 ft Chris craft. Bathroom I used Tub and tile spray can. works great. looks new. Heat. My ac has reverse air. So I get hot air. I added a Electric Fireplace has heat fan. I did the wall paper also. Pain. I added Receptacles with usb in them. Kids !! charging all their stuff. I have Induction burners for cooking. Love the work. Keep it going. Come visit NJ sometime. Rob
Great work!👍🌊
You have a very nice looking boat. I’m fixing to turn 60. I’m retired and would love to find something like this. I admire you for doing this.
Thanks for this update guys. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Our pleasure!
