People live typals, why should they not showcase them? Built two myself ^^ it's just something people do every set if there is synergy, and this set is made for same creature type synergies, what is the problem 😉
29:50 I think Starfall Invocation can only return a creature that the card itself destroyed that turn, i.e. not like Blood on the Snow which can return any creature from your graveyard.

Deck has potential! Synthesizer and other artefacts are still the bane of mono-black, do you see a possible future for this in a competitive environment? It's easy to shore up against aggro matchup, but honestly MD Duress seems better than Deep-Cavern Bat. The Bat seems more suited to the new Bat-synergy in orzhov, or paired with Gix to draw cards.

I want that Maha art sooo bad. The Starfall Invocation didnt gift a card because it only brings something out of the grave that STARFALL INVO killed, not just anything in grave. Ive run into a lot of people forgetting that part of the card.

Since its a discard heavy deck, why no Cruelclaws Heist. At least 2 copies would be good. 2 mana discard that exiles a target card from their hand and you can play it from exile. Seems good here to me
Completely disagree, Arena is now completely ruined. I cannot play standard against all this bull crap discard madness that doesn’t let me play my cards. Completely ruined Arena.

Wizards should abandon the option to inhibit the game so much, like they are with land destruction, for a good reason.

I was thinking about something like this over the weekend. But mine included Thought-Stalker Warlock to have that ideal curve out play sequence.
