ShopBot Tools Makes Awards for Xcel Event - November 2023

As a part of our participation in Xcel's "South Georgia Summit" event on November 9, 2023, we took on the design and fabrication of some awards that were being given out to three students. As a part of our participation at the event, we wanted to show everyone part of the process of how these awards were created. This video documented parts of the machining on all three awards.
They were cut on a ShopBot MAX ATC machine that we use in our production shop. Another example of how we don't just manufacture our machines, we also use them.
About Xcel: Xcel is a 501c3 nonprofit mentoring network that exists to fuel young people with purpose. We mentor, teach soft skills and help young people ages 15-25 find jobs by partnering with businesses, schools, court systems, other non profits, churches and families.
