This was a fantastic edit, It actually got the tears. Yeah Howard seemed like an asshole at first but once you realise he isnt and its Jimmy whos an awful person you see how awful Howard was treated by jimmy and kim. He done nothing wrong he done what was told that is all, He wanted people to like him he treated people nice even his enemies he really did not deserve what jimmy and kim done to him and when he finally stands up for himself he gets killed for it just so tragic and heartbreaking
Honestly, it is so masterful that this show had everyone hating Howard because he's a rich guy who drives a jaguar and inherited a business from his dad, but by the time it was over he became a fan favorite that everyone feels for.
We also adored Jimmy because was broke and had a shitty car and nobody ever gave him a chance and he persevered anyways, but then by the end of the series he just kinda makes you feel nauseous and sad.
100% agree with you, I didn't like Howard at all at first but this one got unjustified hatred at the end from Kim and Howard. He didn't deserve this end

The scene where Howard's body is thrown in the ground underneath the soon to be meth lab, was absolutely devastating. To know that his final resting place, his tomb was under Gus's drug ring was shocking. And to be thrown in there with his killer too. That was a little too much for me.

Howard's story really is tragic. I never saw him as full of himself or narcissistic and Jimmy also came off as a real jerk when he would mistreat him. When Howard died it really hit me how much he didn't deserve what he got.

One that stuck out to me was Howard’s insomnia, Lalo’s lack of need for sleep, and the fact that they share a grave in the end.

As much as Howard is my favorite BCS character, I really enjoy how they killed him off. Nothing he personally could of done would have made Jimmy & Kim regret their actions, had he survived everything would probably have gone back to normal with Howard's reputation damaged. But the fact that he was killed, while in a place he was only at because of Jimmy & Kim, and to a person who was only there because of Jimmy, it was the big moment the show needed to change everything, it was the moment that showed who Jimmy & Kim really were (with Jimmy moving on and Kim never being able to move on), it's by far my favorite scene in not just BCS, but the entire Breaking Bad universe. The fact that Howard, one of the few characters in the show to never "enter the game", was killed by someone fully "in the game", shows how much Jimmy's actions affect everyone around him, and his complete inability to admit to it (until the courtroom scene)
dude the first like 10 seconds of this video is single handedly the most creative use of this shows (and breaking bads) already creative visuals in an edit i have ever seen. well crafted video and fantastic music choice. such a beautiful ode to such a tragic character. his death affected me so deeply and this video perfectly captures the emotions i felt following his death. i love this video a lot, so thanks

Howard’s character is written similar to Jesses. Both started off their arcs kind of annoying and unlikeable and then ended their arcs as the most tragic characters in tv history.
At least jesse got away. Even before el Camino
Jesse to me was likeable from the start.
Jesse got real annoying crying like a little bitch to the DEA. Still glad he got a chance to escape though.
I don't remember how I felt about jesse at the beginning when I first watched breaking bad, but watching it a second time Jesse is the most endearing character in the show from season one, at least 2 me

I remember clearly. It wasn’t Howard’s death that got to me. I mean, sure, I was as shocked as anyone. But it was the next episode, the one that shows his legacy and life reduced to nothing all over something that has nothing to do with him. After that shot on the beach ended and the credits rolled, I remember sitting on my bed and crying. Absolutely heartbreaking.
It's been 19 years since Howardʼs death. Rest in peace, Howie.
damn when i watched bcs i really looked at him as an egoistic coward and now i understand that i just looked at him from point of view of saul who i think was kinda jealous. very deep video & great editing. but we cant just say that he was an angel. why i love bcs and bb is because there are tons of characters and they all do some shitty things but still have good sides so its kinda hard to judge them. authors really made them like real human beings rather than fiction characters. there are no absolute bad guys or absolute angels in our world. everyone has done shitty things but some of them are trying to do better. love it
I completely agree, I hated howard at the beginning then after the death of chuck I said to myself that he wished at the beginning to catch up. Honestly I still don't think he deserved this tragic end, Jimmy's last plan was terrible, no one should suffer a plan that aims to totally destroy a person's reputation, and make him look like a crazy drug addict
Nobody's perfect, Howard had a lot of flaws, but I think that made him even more human than other characters in the show, which makes his death even more shocking.
