Thank you so much for this review. I find your thoughts on each of these stories fascinating, and how they differ from and correspond with my own. My favourite story was Invitation to Murder, which I felt was a surprisingly satirical piece about a writer who specialises in sexualised horror stumbling into a fatal psychodrama himself. My least favourite was Mop Up, just because I dislike the whole zombie thing unless there’s a decent hook, and it didn’t feel like there was. I was surprised by how much you disliked The Fur Coat, which I’ve always thought had one of Laymon’s most amusing horror twists. Though there is definitely a disconnect between that and the more “literary” elements around grief.
Wonderful to see you back once again and really well done video that really makes me want to read this book since i own it but have yet to get around to reading it.
Great dreadful story❤️❤️❤️❤️I would rather look after for that book👍👍👍👍Thanks for sharing 🌟🌟🌟 Greetings from Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭full watched& stay connected 🔔🔔🔔
I'm still in the midst of going through this collection. Most curious thing for me is finding out some ideas/shout-outs/story points that Laymon later used in his full-length novels sometimes. Like the beginning of "Saving Grace" short story that was almost literally copy-pasted as a starting point of "Body Rides" novel. Not a bad thing, most authors do that, just interesting. =)

Excited to see a new video! Love hearing your thoughts on these
Thanks a lot for watching.

What do you prop your camera on and what is the camera, I am super curious since I want to do videos in this style
It's just my phone camera, and I prop it up on a stack of paperbacks :) Thanks a lot for watching.
