The NORAD Band was an incredible ensemble. Saw them in Moncton NB back in August 1970. The photo at 0:57 was taken on Main Street, across the street from Paramount Theatre. I was standing near that location with my Dad and saw them I believe the night before at the Moncton High Scholl Auditorium.
Lots of great studio musicians came out of that band. i grew up with Phil Teele and Rand Aldcroft. 2 guys just off the top of my head . Bravo ! i know Randy still has his jazz commanders album .
Players like Fred Hamilton (guitar), Rick Drumm (drums), Mike Brumbaugh (trombone) and so many other fine musicians came out of this band. I was very lucky to have made some great music with them.
