Good job with the review. Have placed an order of a new C43 Sedan, delivery spring 2019. For me this is definitely an AMG. I have owned a 2017 C63S and driven CLA45, A45, C43, C63, E43, E63, all great in their own way. For me living in Sweden with snow a couple of months, the 4-matic is a big plus. And the V6 sound really nice.
Nice review! I have a ‘19 c43 and love it. I agree that this really is a real AMG as every major component of this car has been touched by AMG (brakes, wheels, suspension, transmission, AWD, steering, exhaust and even the 3.l v6)
For sure. I came from a smaller engine 2017 CLA45 but have the 2019 C43 for sometime now. Beside the engine not being "hand built", in terms of performance, styling and sound, I don't feel the C43 compromise to the AMG brand in anyway. But you still get id!ots who seems to think because it's not "hand built", more correctly, hand assembled, it's not an AMG. I also wonder if these very same people ever own an AMG.
I would say the C43 sedan would be a great car for her. They just updated the 2019 models so they get the digital cluster and new steering wheel. Very nice cars.
I realized after I made this video that the torque split is fixed. 🤦♂️ I do agree, this car is extremely predictable. I actually got to drive the AMG GT 63 and was blown away by the rear steering and 4MATIC +.

Power split F/R is fixed at all times and in all settings. Makes it very predictable.

Wrong. Mercedes Beaverton gave me a loaner AMG while my 2020 c43 was being detailed pre purchase.

Some people may be looking at a used one of these and it's just what my local dealer gave me to drive. I would love to drive the 2019 C-Class.

It’s 2024 and this is one of the videos I’m watching as I’m getting mine, even though it is a slightly newer model.
