the ducktape trick saved my day, blew a gasket at the put in and was able to repair it and boat for the day. Funny stuff guys!

Another strap trick alternative I learned recently is to daisy chain both straps together. Put both straps parallel to each other and start daisy chaining. This way they will always be in pairs the way we use them. No searching for two 15 foot straps individually. Just another option. I still roll mine for space reasons.
