Love the DIYs, would love more of them.
One tip for the glass in the bottom of the vase. Put some stones in the bottom of the glass to anchor the glass in the bottom of the vase. This stops it falling over if moved as you would not want water spilling everywhere.
Using the glass in the big vase also helps the flowers and greenery stay balanced upright instead of flopping sideways.
Please, please do more of these DIYs. The style of most DIYs that I find on CZcams are more bohemian than I prefer. Brilliant ideas! Lovely as always. 😊

I discovered there’s actually videos online about paint splatter techniques. That was so much fun to do when painting my corbels.
Quick note about returns at IKEA: you have 365 days to return most items. If you have a loyalty card, the IKEA Family Card, you don’t need your receipt - your purchases are listed in their database. Love your basket DIY.

Actually this is now incorrect. I was just at IKEA and I have their family card . They now require receipts for all returns. Also they are having stock issues as well.
@@zoeclearwater Well that stinks! I can’t stand keeping receipts. I have tons of them, too. The inventory issue is really bad. I don’t get it. I know there can be delays but it has gotten ridiculous. Sad.
@@margaretames6522 well idk where you’re from but in the UK you can have the receipt sent to your email rather than printed out when you shop in store. I usually do that cause I can just look it up on my emails if I need to return something instead of trying to not lose a receipt for a whole year lol

You could preserve your great chalked distress look for longer on your watered pots by giving them an Annie Sloan clear wax coat. Or any wax coat. Dubbin. Floow wax. Beeswax. Check out the differing effects.

Loved this vlog! Please do more DIYs. Any advice for Modern Farmhouse? Our house is still being built and I am zeroing in on black, white and brown from woods. I went really bold in the master shower with black, white and patterned black & white tiles. I am getting stumped on how to do farmhouse 2.0 without clutter and signage like “ Farmhouse “. LOL. Today I feel like I’m having an existential crisis. Now I’m wondering about leaning towards your decor. I know y’all talk a lot scandi …but any quick advice. Yes! More DIY, please! I love the artwork you've crafted - especially the piece you display at 12:37 - which I've always admired. I've wanted to recreate that for some time having seen it in various areas of your home. I live in an area of Los Angeles where all the fun stores (i,e. Michaals, JoAnn's, Home Goods, Ikea) are a pain in neck to get to due to distance, traffic and parking,, hence my dragging of heels. But maybe your DYI inspo will make me get my Mini on the road and hunt down materials.

Love this! I took an old canvas. Painted it all white , grabbed some black paint & painted those rough child like circles. After that I splattered some grey on it . Voile ! It looks so amazing. I'm thrilled with the results Thank you for the great ideas. Keep them coming

I’ve wanted to do this DIY since I saw this several months ago. I was going to use a print from my father in law’s estate, but it was listed on etsy for $1,250 oops!!! Glad I looked haha! So I found one today finally at a designer warehouse sale for twenty bucks!!! It’s about 48” square and turned out ahhhhhhmazing! Now if I could just get my husband to agree to paint the fireplace black! Working on it! Thanks for being such an inspiration and so ridiculously cute!

I’d love to see your take on acrylic pour art and maybe doing a texture stencil art. I keep thinking “How would Valentina make them her own?” They were my lockdown Pinterest discoveries. I’m going to paint over a hand made pottery vase and found there’s a terracotta primer/sealer spray paint that makes the paint stick better. Don’t know if you’d need that for chalk paint though.
