The length of the T. rex is outdated, thanks to the recent study of the Scotty specimen, it is now known that it could reach 13 meters. T Rex has better functional legs than most dinosaurs, because it is by far the best long-distance runner in the animal kingdom, thanks to the Arcto metatarsals in its feet, which only three groups of dinosaurs have, Troodontids, Ornithomimids, and Tyrannosaurids, these groups of dinosaurs are the only animals EVER to have these feet, it allow gain back more energy at every step they take, these animals are built to travel super long distances for long periods of time, also lets them take longer strides, keeping a consistent speed, allow them eventually catch up to its prey, for traveling long distances, these feet also allows the animal to be best efficient in quick turns. T Rex along with the other dinosaur groups I mentioned are the best long-distance runners in the entire animal kingdom. there is a video lecture by paleontologist Dave Hone, about the feet of T Rex
Tyrannosaurus is bigger, has a stronger bite powerful enough to crush through bone, can 1v1 a Triceratops and Ankylosaurus which are both Armored and equiped with weapons to protect themselves from other predators, and is a heavy unit. T Rex lived on earth for only 68-66 million years ago or ruled only 2 million years
The scavenger rex theory makes no sense. The rex possessed almost every single thing that would be essential for a predator. Forward facing eyes, an incredible sense of smell, bone-crushing bite, great inteligence, the list goes on. There is no evidence at all suggesting that it was a scavenger, and sure, it may have had a slow running speed, given that it was too robust, but it was most likely more adapted for standing and fighting instead of chasing down.
What I find funny about the T.rex being a scavenger theory is that it only exists because Jack Horner (the person who proposed the theory) just wanted to make the T.rex look less strong and menacing

@@Mega-Tales yeah i can understand that. I tried animating and i sucked. U did good u should be proud. Jwe2 animations are really good but man im gonna miss the old ones haha.
This scavenger/predator argument is dumb. It's like saying real herbivores wouldn't eat leaves off the ground. He was an opportunist. If he found a dead animal, of course he was going to eat it. An animal like the t-rex must need 400-500lbs of food a day just to maintain weight. I'm sure ALL predator dinosaurs did the same thing. Apex predators today don't turn away free eats. Just saying.
Me personally i think t rex will win but this will be a close battle ngl cause they both are impecible creatures and this could go any way really but me i think t rex would win most of the time
I love Acrocanthosaurus, but this isn't a close battle at all, Acro gets destroyed
i love ur vids
why thank you
Bro this is my Dino dream match
Mine too
You got the speed estimates wrong for both theropods.
Acrocanthosaurus would have been able to run up to 25 mph, while tyrannosaurus could've run up to 15 mph. Not 32 or 37 mph. I don't know where you got those estimates from or if you just made them up.
@Efash Kabeer overestimating? "No..." Many researchers disagree that acrocanthosaurus was a quick runner. Sauropods were its main diet. Speed would not have been necessary.

@@Mega-Tales it actually was much smaller, T. rex was 10 tonnnes, and Acrocanthosaurus was 5-6 tonnes, so I have no idea how you came to the conclusion that Acro even stands remotely a chance. Putting an Acro against a T. rex is not a fight, it’s a live feeding for the rex.

@@spinosaurusaegyptiacus49 That's completely false. T.rex was about 9 tons and Acrocanthosaurus was about 6 tons. T.rex also wasn't mainly a scavenger, that's been debunked.
