Fun Facts~!:
I actually believe that we ACTIVELY give the Gungans too much shit because ONE of them is a little silly stupid. Gungans are INCREDIBLY resourceful and educated, well versed warriors and understanding scholars who stick to the swamps of Naboo due to tradition.
For instance, their society is ran on city based clans and governments (cities being enormous bubble cities that hold smaller cities in them), wherein leaders from clans or elected officials from the government answer to a high counsel run by "The Boss". Legends tell of the many Bosses who have ruled over the Gungan bubble domes, with the current ruler being Boss Rugor Nass, Representative Been, Representative Lyoni, Representative Slarm and Representative Teers. Representatives are representatives for their cities, but Jar Jar binks was a Representative for the Gungans party (cornered in with the Naboo) in the senate.
Previous Bosses have been Neesada Bari (Who's been elected three times apparently), Rish Loo (though they say they need a source for this) and NONE OTHER than JAR JAR BINKS! (Though again, I cannot stress enough Wookieepedia claims they need a source for this and so do fucking I holy shit)
Gungans use the plasma sewn straight from the core of Naboo to power their enormous bubble projector cities (no clue if there's any relation to Bubble Wort Projectors), and grow coral along the carcasses of their subs to insulate them from the water and styalise the coral's colour!
It also makes sense that, compared to the Naboo, Gungans were a PROUD warrior species, who would domesticate animals large and small, even dedicating stable space inside their large cities to house such creatures! Though, despite being a proud warrior species, Gungans are less likely to be force sensative which is some form of ironic given an episode that you're going to be looking at some point in the future! _Wink wonk wink wink_
So if I see you motherfuckers scream and shit yourself when that cool ass episode where Grievous gets his ass handed to him by a bunch of proud-ass warriors who have been racially profiled as "stupid idiots who talk funny" despite the fact that we have HAMMER HEAD PEOPLE who talk like they're murmurring embarrassingly, hairy ape people who scream and Talz who - depending on media - go blpblpblbbblbpblpb or roar, then I'm going to pick up a rock and begin SWINGING!!!

I have literally NO IDEA WHY but as a kid this episode terrified me, and I can’t explain why, I’ve only watched this episode like 3 times because of it.

This episode had one of those rare times where Jar Jar was legitimately angry. Like at that moment when the doctor was explaining the virus. Because while Jar Jar can be silly he does genuinely care about his planet.

Actually the one ear thing Pepi Bow had is a social thing. According to Wookieepedia Gungan (Legends), female Gungans tied their ears back. A MetaNerdz video I watched on the Gungans recently said that it was a tradition of one of the Gungan races, the Ankura, to tie their ears back.
That's gotta be uncomfortable!
Not usually one to comment, but damn you are just getting better and better. I'd love to see you geek out a little bit more when it comes to Star Wars lore and stuff. Maybe pick out one element specific to the episode or just more general about the show and explain it a little more in detail. (e.g. Ashokas species, lightsaber lore etc.)
But again, brilliant work. You deserve more subs for sure!

8:01 that little line of dialogue actually gives us a great insight into the genetic makeup of all living organisms in star wars, more specificly it means that "all" lifeforms use the same genetic code
(DNA for example evolved here on earth an actual alien species could maybe not even be infected with viruses from earth)
because viruses carry only one type of "info" either rna or dna(or the star wars equivalent).
Obviously im applying real life science to a fictional universe but it's still cool to think about

In all honesty for 3PO it’s like watching a brain surgery. Considering all we know about him it’s surprising he doesn’t shut down from the pressure.
Seeing the inside of a R-Unit is so surreal. There are the R3s whose domes are see through but even then the Transparisteel is usually painted over.
Considering Obi-Wan was Qui-Gon’s Padawan/something of a son figure and Anakin too helped severely in getting rid of the Lucrehulk it really makes sense especially if we watch later episodes with Grievous invading Naboo where Anakin is considered a good friend by them.
I love how you can see the green in the water against the blue contrast even before Desaster struck. Also I guess the heads were something like worships to whatever gods the Gungans and Naboo once had before.

Definitely both ears in a ponytail. Also Orn Fre Taa has 4 Lekku which is seen as a high status. Bit like back when blacks were seen as inferior to whites for obvious and stupid reasons. But what strikes me the most here is where the heck are this girl‘s clothes?!
The way he actually makes the virus airborne makes sense. He charges the virus‘ particles with lightning(plasma) making them go from liquid to gas state as they now have more energy to move around.

Dear Lord it‘s alway hilarious to put random subtitle on characters who we cannot understand at all. R2 and Chopper Are THE best examples.
Qui-Gon tried to teach Obi-Wan to break the circle of downfall but it was for nought.
In LEGO Star Wars 3 the Clone Wars the Level for this Episode starts with Rex and Ahsoka being in the Swamp and if you remember where to stand when the cameras rise you can stand on them. And if you have a let’s say Mouse Droid as your second character the cameras won’t give alarm and there won’t be any Droids deployed. Also the Level ends with Jar Jar catching the vile with the virus and swallowing it whole. No idea how he survived that.
I can understand Anakin in this situation best. If I tried hiding my frustration like Obi-Wan I would only manage to do so for a couple minutes max.
When did the Sepis manage to build the base? Or was it during their takeover of Naboo 10 years ago?
God just now realize that Vindi has this Germanic accent like Armin Zola from Marvel. They really went deep into kicking 20th century Germany in the jewels didn’t they?🤣
