My fourth consecutive Undertale video, and while this isn't my best arrangement, I think this is my best overall video. I paid close attention to just about everything to make it as perfect as I can.
I'm starting a patreon campaign with the release of this video, since so many folks were asking for ways to support me. I'll make a vlog detailing everything about that later, but until then just know that these past few weeks have been completely fucking gnarly - in a good way. There's a LOT of stuff changing in my life and online, all of it for the better. I'm really fucking excited to tell everyone all about it, but until then simply enjoy the music.

what I love in your covers, it is that they are not just "metal cover of that theme". they are respecting the original version, and it makes it very cool. I've seen too much "metal covers" that are here just for... the metal part of it, and you just can't hear the original version behind it.

hopes and dreams is one of those few songs that really pull your heart strings. there are good songs, and then there are these. hopes and dreams makes me feel like i have to keep going, no matter the cost. it really does fill me with determination. the only other songs that make me feel like that is the streets of whiterun, which makes me feel homesick and hopeful, and rip and tear, which fills me with rage

+RichaadEB There's a callback to Heartache/ASGORE in the final stretch of the song (I like the idea that the Dreemurr family itself shares a leitmotif like that, by the way!), aaand I was gonna point out the callout to Flowey's theme at the very end but I guess that counts as being in the original. I'm stumped on what the other callback melody could be.

I remember first watching an Undertale playthrough years ago and listening to this track so frequently. Sometimes it feels good to come full circle. Great work.

All these years later and this track has yet to dull in my heart and mind. My favorite moment, the character I sympathize the most with, and the one who never got total resolution. While DR is on the horizon, I can't help but look back and keep this bit in my mind. And hopefully in future, some other hopes and dreams may save someone else's world.

Richaad, I give my great applause to the music you create. Not only does it respect the original piece, but it adds a twist that doesn't feel out of place. This song is a great example. I still feel the power this song cam give off, the emotion is clearly translated into a great, cover to an already great song. Absolutely great.
