one of my favourite Yetta moments by far (S06, E21): Maggie: "So, Sylvia, what did you and Morty do on your first anniversary?" Sylvia: "We went to Puerto Rico." Maggie: "Aww, what about you Yetta?" Yetta: "We fled Poland."
I love Yetta. I would have loved to have seen Yetta and Sophia (Golden Girls) have a show together. I know that wouldn't have been possible but still. 😊
The Nanny and The Golden Girls are truly the best sitcoms of all time. I would have loved a crossover/spin-off with Yetta chillin in Miami ;) would have been awesome! Her and Sophia in one episode would have been absolutely iconic
Big hair and high heels are two consistently reliable ways we women add to our height, plus they shift the focus away from places where we're hippy or busty or both. It's a win-win situation.
Yetta: she should get married when she wants to. Not because she got knocked up by the seltzer man like I………..heard people do. Sylvia: huh, is that why I love egg cream?
Scenes like this show one thing clearly : you dont need to be young to entertain. Its all about the Script and Dialogs. I never liked Blockbuster. They never pay Credit to Real talent.
A while ago an older woman said something offensive in lue of me never having married... then my brother told me that fate would punish her by giving male offspring to the one son she doesnt like as opposed to the ones she does like. Now im not one to care about the status of a woman who never marries or a family line that dies out for lack of male offspring. As far as i know, you are loved and remembered as long as there are people around who have loved and remember you... not because your name is written on someone's ID. Nor am i one to gloat over people's misery for god knows misery goes around like a rabbid dog. But somewhere in there, i know there's justice for those who try to make others feel worthless.
*"I came because they brought me. And I don't know how to get home"*
That's right cookie it's payback time
Lots of people are like this. They want people to have kids when they had them when they weren't ready, and they want others to feel as bad as them
😆😆😆😆😆
It’s how Yetta says it that does it for me😭🤣
Rest in peace, grandma Yetta :(
Hey, she lived 20 years after this show ended. She lived very long and fruitful life. And certainly left us good laughs to boot.
