The Smurf - The paparazzi and press relentlessly tortured this great man for many years. So sad that he’s gone. George Michael was one of the greatest artist of my time. He had so much talent as a Singer, songwriter, composer, and great performer. He also was a very generous philanthropist who gave great sums of money (under the radar) to so many charities, and never did it for any recognition. It all was confirmed after his death. He’ll be greatly missed. R.I.P. YOG 🙏🙏

George Michael's voice is absolutely captivating. That special gift he had, to be able to convey such sorrow, sadness, vulnerability. , with a beautiful velvety delivery was simply like no other. Many of George's ballads make me cry. He delivers them in such a way that you completely understand what he's going through. It touches your heart to the deepest place. No one will take his place as my favorite.
Let's not forget to party with him. Remember though, it was his job. When he got on stage, everybody was part of that show, everyone was part of his celebration of love and life. I don't know about you but I can"t still. I can't! He rock's my world, whatever he sings. George lives on in our hearts 4 ever!

what a treasure he was. such talent, that voice and just the sweetest soul, he did so much quiet good. the whole Older album is exquisite, in my top 5 all time albums. i loved him when i was a child and he wasn't much older. i miss him.
I agree. He left us an incredible body of work, but I do sincerely believe that "Older" is his masterpiece. It captured him at the absolute peak of his artistic maturity as a musician and a songwriter. An all-time classic in my book.

we lost a legend..i loved this man from teenager at school...went to wham the final concert ..then all his concerts in london.when he died the whole of the world mourned..i went to his house in hampstead.laid flowers wrote in the book for him..was amazing how many fans from across the world were there ..was very emotional but beautiful..spoke to his cousin who was walking his dog .was such a sad time..makes me cry everytime i hear last christmas now....

I was at Wham the Final concert at Wembley and it was legendary. George was such a talent and his voice was amazing. Elton John also featured in the concert. I never forget Wham came out to a song called 'Everything She Wants' and as soon as the intro started the crowd went nuts and we could hear George before he and Andrew came on stage. On "OUTSIDE" this is a different version of the first, and to tell you the truth it's as good as the original, made even a little better and the long and winding road. Continue on album by album. There's a lot to go thru however, take your time to enjoy who he was & still is. Every song will probably seem like your favorite until you hear the next one. I love this performance. The official video, when George was with Wham but did the solo songs (including this one) is very nice. He's so young and kind of naive, but the pain is there still. He got better with age and it shows in the expressions in his face and voice and the song is even more moving. Still, you should see that young George Michael original... it'll break your heart as well. The Best... George was and is.

Had a plethora of hits, possibly their most well known is Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. such a fun song, you should do a reaction to it. Incidentally, I think this my favourite song from George. Such a talented artist. Arguably his death affected people almost as much as the passing of Freddie Mercury's did.
A few years ago I found out that he is my distant cousin through his mom. He was my favorite singer, songwriter. I have as far as I know I have all of his albums except Symphonica. If I can find it I will be buying a copy of it.
It's amazing how far he has gone in his career. I would say almost full circle. God only knows how much more he could of given us! But, he's us a lot. I'm grateful for all he has given us, His precious heart & spirit. What could be better than that! George, you have & are loved 4 ever!

i think he had struggles with depression-which made him do lots of drugs.hence getting all this attention from the press
