AAC helps Kendal understand me and it helps me understand him. We call the NovaChat his "translator box." Thanks to AAC we can have conversations that make sense to both of us!
This is one of the BEST video examples of using aided language/modeling I've seen. I especially appreciate this interaction with a young adult, as most videos are with small children. Please share more videos with teens/young adults/adults! Thank you!
YES! This is wonderful. Such a sincere and natural interaction - and he's not in pre-school! It's true! These students don't disappear once they reach middle school! Unfortunately, sometimes they have to wait until adulthood to even be introduced to AAC. Thank you and Kendal for sharing.
