That’s the area that we like to stay, we use hotel Vulcano and Chukys bar our favourite lunch time eatery .
My folks used to have a timeshare right in that very spot some 20 years ago & we’d visit each year. Nice to see it again thanks 😊

We won't see much change in prices - especially in the tourist areas.
The south is virtually being run by the Chinese - you can guarantee down the front a large percentage is owned and operated by those guys. Fair play to them they work hard and everything is usually spotless and competitively priced.
The most expensive bars on the island are the Irish bars that are simply a complete rip off - that's why we see so many Irish themed bars opening up now. Why would you pay 12 euros for 2 pints when you can get it for almost half that price?
dont mind higher prices if they have live bands on etc but fair points

I stayed at Best Jacorano first visit to Tenerife last month already going back in May. I had a "friendly" armband scammer fist bump me when I was drunk and would not let go of my hand, then showed pic of a child on his phone saying he's sick then asked where my wallet is. I snatched his phone and threw it and then ran off with wrist bands still on. Apparently I'm a good person. Do not fist bump random strangers walking about at night. Other than that fantastic experience.
