Why should we wait for the Chinese or the Europeans?
Maybe it’s time we start pushing these developments ourselves and leave both Europe and China out of it.
We most certainly have the knowledge.
We have the educated manpower in abundance.
We are the richest and most endowed continent in natural resources in the world.

It's only 5 minutes for now, but it's gonna be 90sec when fully functioning and that's excellent for the high lagos population.

The Chinese did a good job. The problem is that Lagos state can't maintain it. I know how we love dirty environment in this country. So I am sceptical it can be maintained. Not only that the surroundings are not beautified there is trash seen from inside the train in many areas along the way. No green, no grass, no flower, no plants and no landscaping. This country is far from modernity.
Thank you, sir, for this video.

Have you seen plants, flowers and Green in most Metro Stations in Europe? This Marina Metro Station in Lagos even looks nice and beautiful than most Metro Stations in Europe.
Many Metro Stations in Europe smell very bad because of Junkies.😮

Just to update you, the BRT system has been running for years and it's still been maintained. The Lagos to Ibadan train has been in operation yet the stations look new. We say the government don't maintain infrastructure yet we the citizens are the ones vandalizing infrastructures.

Do you know how bad China was even as late as 30 years ago? Do you know the level of poverty and wretchedness many living Chinese people faced? The development of China is very recent.
Every society has it's opportunity to develop if its citizens put more effort in developing the society than they do in putting it down.

The Lagos State govt still has alot to do. There is no access to more people to take the train. If you cannot climb the stairs, how do you go up there? Why did they not construct a rolling stair case? This shows that they are backward with 30 to 40 years in development in Nigeria. They should launch more lines, blue, red, yellow, white, green etc that goes round the state. Lagos is the smallest state in Nigeria They should have a station in Idumuta so that more people can take it. Until all nigerians can afford to ride on this trains the govt has not done it job. It is the duty & responsibility og the govt to provide transportation for the citizens, construct good roads & rails. Nigeria govt do your job. Stealing our money is not your job.
