49:40 kaya toast is of a Singapore origin. In Singapore, Kaya is a sweet coconut jam made with coconut, eggs and an aromatic plant called Pandan.
Kaya can be sweet but it's delicious on buttered toast and is usually served and eaten with half boiled eggs on the side that helps detract the sweetness from the jam

Just to explain the third decoration buff:
Instead of becoming impatient when you deliver one of the group's orders, they just make use of the Waiting for Food phase as if it was one person instead of a group. I'll make some numbers up to serve as example.
Seating phase -> Thinking phase -> Service phase -> Waiting for Food phase -> X (Food Delivery phase) X -> Eating
*Without the buff:*
After you take the orders and before you start delivering, customers are Waiting for Food for 45 seconds and, once you delivered one item, they switch to Food Delivery phase and become impatient until you delivered all items, where you only have 10s to serve everyone else.
*With the ninth decoration buff:*
Customers never switch from WfF to FD. They simply continue in the Waiting for Food phase. That means that if you start delivering food 5 seconds after taking their order, you still have the other 40 seconds to serve the rest of the group, instead of scrambling to serve them all at the same time. On the other hand, if you are used to waiting out the timer to serve them at the last second, keep in mind that they will not switch to another timer once you start delivering food so, whatever time you have left after taking orders is the time you have to serve them.
There's pros and cons. They will also eat much faster.

There is the hosting stand where it keeps 1 group of customers inside and the rest outside but u have to take the reservation thingy to the tables and there's a booking stand where it keeps 1 group of customers inside and the rest outside but u don't have to take the reservation thingy tothe table, they seat themselves.
Don't confuse the booking stand with the booking desk, There are 2 different things in plateup

This game has great banter/gameplay balance. It's not as tight or chaotic as overcooked or diner bros, and with the team of 4, you all are setup for success

Honestly? As good as Jazzy was in the last run (she was incredible in the fish kitchen), Ash was the MVP for me this round. Washing that many dishes, plus plating? Great job.

@@blackyellowcat literally! Don’t get me wrong, I love him in every other series they do, but he has this, like, delay when picking stuff up or putting it down? I don’t know if it’s a controller issue or not, but it was like three seconds at a time lol
Useful to consider the rarity of items. Based on all the episodes I've seen: Mops, kitchen mats & plates tend to be quite rare so early on when they appeared and I knew you'd have more customers coming I felt it was a good preventative measurement to get those things even if right now it wasn't a problem.
Tho sadly in this particular run I don't feel getting more plates may have helped much since everyone was already struggling as is & Ash could barely keep up with the plates as they came so it would have caused more situations where there were more items (dirty/clean/served plates) all over the place that needed organizing without enough areas to place them all.
Just a way to look at it, the 3 seat table on the right if you moved the bottom of that table ontop of the other 3 seat table then remove the top chair you would have 4 seats and 3 seats. Because you are just wasting a table on the 3 seat table on the right because it will still be 3 seat not having bottom table there.
i think the 9th burger symbol means they eat quicker and will wait indefinitely when groups are being served. For example: when 2 ppl sit at a table and the 1st person gets their food but the 2nd hasn't yet, if you have the 9th burger they'll wait indefinitely for the 2nd one to get their order.
They don't wait indefinitely, they just continue in the Waiting for Food phase as if no one had gotten served yet. There's no transition to a different phase.

Try upgrading hosting stand to booking stand, so they can be seated automatically when there's empty seat.
I know useful blueprints come in wrong time make this game harder.
But try to buy more blueprint cabinets at first 3 days, and also keep as much research desk as possible to buy & upgrade it when you able to do so. So it can be easier for you for following days.
You can get rare blueprints(mop, conveyor, prep station) more easier by blueprint desk. So try to upgrade research desks PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE.
You can buy hob/table in later days, as now their blueprints come out frequently(since version 0.15). Usually 2-3 tables still can last until day 5-7.

they really didn't need that hostess stand. it just gave them an extra step to do versus the customers seating themselves as soon as all the plates are removed from the table.
If they would leave the people at the stand rather than seating immediately it would give them an extra timer as long as they aren't having crowds outside. For example, first morning crowd comes in and you have bo bread, leave them waiting to let Price cook and then table them to start the timer back up.
always take right cards because the left ones usually end runs (25% more customers will end your runs late game) so it may seem bad to add more to toast or deserts but the left cards usually will hurt your run much more (don’t always take right only if the left one sucks)

But I definitely noticed Ash is overburdened because Price is overbreading and placing the toast on the wrong counter
Kaya toast is actually a traditional breakfast food in my country - Kaya jam is basically highly sweetened coconut spread, and yes it’s VERY sweet, which is why it pairs well with the bitter black coffee that is usually served together with it.
Wash basin definitely would have been better for this run than the power sink due to the larger group size. Also, ovens/microwaves don't make messes but hobs do. Hence why you didn't have many messes at the beginning.
Also the four top on the left was unnecessarily far away from the other tables.
You know, I'm not sure I would buy toast made from sink bread.

There’s this Korean channel I love watching called Yummylog, and they make a lot of specialized toast and fried bread recipes with condensed milk sauces and a lot of eggs. I made a recipe from them and it was really good! Highly recommend it.

If the hosting stand appears as a blueprint you could upgrade it. Once upgraded it will turn into a booking stand where customers will wait for the empty table and occupy it themselves. That stand does not require you to show the group where to sit, so they may sit inefficiently, though (eg. a group of free may occupy the last unoccupied table for four, despite 4 guests waiting outside as the next group)

Seriously I'd go to a restaurant based on bread. I LOVE BREAD. It's not good for me but I eat it anyway. Every bowl made of bread. Every topping for bread. Artisan cheeses, jams, and sausage on bread. That one restaurant, O's Kitchen or whatever it was called? They made their name on their bread sticks. People just line up around the block to get the fresh bread with hot butter on it. Can't fail, man.
hmm I felt that they could make a five seat table that on the wall and remove one seat to make it a four, while that 3 seat that uses 2 table can still be 3 with one table... and the center if uses 2 table would be 6 seat so removing 2 seat from them will make it 4 as well...
Brioche is my fave, I can eat it as is . It’s fluffy thick and mildly sweet. 😇

Price could've easily taken the extra step of putting the toast on a plate, would've saved Ash so much unnecessary work
Hi Stumpt,
You can make the diagonals a little easier when you use a counter. In this run, you could've put a counter right under the dish rack (or under the sink before that) so that the counter would block you from moving too far.
(You don't necessarily have to use a counter, it can be something else to block off the way too.)
Like the napkin holder since it doesn't stick out as much, but would be enough to create a small corner.

I find it really funny because I live in Portland and my favorite breakfast place is called Toast. Best Eggs Benedict though Banning's in Tigard also does a mean Eggs Benedict too!

The hosting stand only lets ONE table queue up?! That's ridiculous for the amount of extra time you have to spend catering to it! Bad item! Baaaad!
But you can have different table sizes if you have bigger groups, like in this episode, so a 4-seat table doesn't get used by a group of 2 people, as you can lead them to a smaller table. The hosting stand really saved them with this restaurant layout, as there wasn't that much space to put many 4-seat tables without blocking too much. They only should have cleaned the tables faster.
It's like only took the Stumpt crew like 50 videos to finally try the diagonal window dishwashing method that I asked them to try in those first few videos.
You do realize that we record things in advance in large chunks. Most of the videos that are going out are at least on a few weeks delay.

Too bad I'm only watched n comments on CZcams, cause if I watch the stream I'll be spamming so much suggesting to change the dish rack with you wash basin in the other room. Cause dish rack you can only put 4 dirty plate while the wash basin you can put AND wash the 4 dirty plate. Plus Jasaenne can help wash it from outside if Ash were occupied.
It's obviously a joke every time they say it, but the amount of single-shaming triggers my flight-or-fight.
