It’s really hard to breed/take care of gouldian finch. Just last week I lost 7 gouldian and 1 own finch. They are very expensive too. Sometimes I think of quitting breeding the gouldian finches.
There are also males (red faces) in these cages and he has an uneven number of male and female birds. It should be even numbers for each in each cage. This is the problem. Or you can have ALL female or ALL male in one cage; this is ok too.
