I have a client who got badly burned as a child. He had a hair transplant and they gave him a “hairline” in the front but honestly it was terribly done. My client has worn a hat his entire life. He’s in his late 40s we did this service on him and he was almost in tears and walked out of the salon without a hat 🥺 it was my favorite thing ever lol

Brad is so lucky, I always deep condition, sleep in a satin bonnet, I don't use heat and use tons of conditioner, I only use henna to make my hair darker, no chemicals.
Still, it just takes to use a paddle brush once and I'm left with split ends.

@@lavenderdust7912 I'm also a hairstylist and figured I'd give a little insight on some things that might help you. Some people just have really resilient hair and some people don't! How often are you washing it? I'd recommend only washing your hair every few days. Do you towel dry it? Make sure you're not roughly drying it or that can cause split ends and breakage. You really just want to gently squeeze the water out with the towel. Are you getting trims regularly? It's always hard for me to let go of some length, but if you don't those split ends will continue to split up the hair and you'll have to cut more off later. Also, make sure you're brushing your hair from the ends and work your way up, not from the top down! Wishing you the best of luck with your hair

I'm basically doing everything you suggested, my hair is very dry, hence it doesn't need to be washed that much, I brush it starting by the ends using an Eko wooden brush, I only squeeze the water out and never stress my hair with towels. I'm currently not trimming because I'd like to have a longer e hair, as soon as it will be longer I'll start trimming it every 2 months as I usually do.
I have very thick, coarse hair, but it breaks so easily.
I don't get how my hair, even if freshly cut, gets damaged again in like a week, no matter how much I take care of it. I'd like to seek medical advice, it might be that I lack some nutrients maybe 🤷🏻♀️

Probably because the word "toupee" freaks them out? Toupees used to be so obvious and usually used on a full-on bald area, whereas weaves can be used to just add fullness to existing hair.
It’s a weave because it’s not your hair. Clip ins, tape ins, braid ins, fusions and even glue ins are considered weave. Call it what you want lol🤷🏽♀️😂

Normally in black prominent barber shops the air brushing is just to make it look more defined and clean . It’s common , Almost every time you go to the barber shop & get a cut that’s what they do .

Brad, have you ever thought about reaching out to a local salon/barber shop for people of color to sit in and watch the process firsthand? You seem to love watching hairstylists of color and firsthand shop experience would be fun for us to watch. You could also consider adding people of color to your reaction vids so that more people can understand our side of the hair world. Just a few thoughts, love all your vids!!!

Might be overlooked but I would like to see a reaction with people dealing with Trichotillomania. It's embarrassing as hell and I always wondered what hair dressers thought of it..or if they even knew.
I'm a guy and I've been embarrassed to get my beard done professionally for a while now because I pull my beard hairs from a certain spot. I used to chew my nails when I waz younger and now this. Getting my beard done by a professional barber is really a treat for me by the way. It's easy to think or say just trim or shave my beard off, which will have to happen and it's not like it doesn't grow back, but it's not that easy or comfortable to think about. I'd be interested to see Brad reacting to some personal stories like this too from client and hairdresser perspectives.

My sister does frontals for woman and men and it always amazes me how real they look. A lot of woman get them for alopecia. It’s such a rewarding thing and one of her favorites to do.
