With Colonia there is a fragrance easter egg when the temperature in the air reaches like 80 something Farenheit. if you have Colonia on, the cologne will sweeten up at that temp and unleash some sort of magical powers into the air around you. I found this out when i was at a local coffee shop at the bar minding my business when all of the sudden i found myself surrounded by about 5 gorgeous ladies giggling like school girls and moving in closer to me. (Normally im sureounded by 5 disgruntled homelss guys, drunk and muttering incoherent blasphemies)
Great list, love the enthusiasm around Eau Sauvage, close to 60 yrs old and still in the game, what an icon, will always be in my wardrobe, so many fond memories associated with it. Recently acquired a bottle of Detaille Escrimeur, would have fitted perfectly within this list, try it if you have have the opportunity. Thank you from the UK
Yes yes Armani ph, what else . This scent utterly captivated me when I first came across it - so elegant , so sophisticated , yet quite simple . I love it . I recently picked up a set with 50ml edt spray,mini shave foam, 15ml moisturiser,and shampoo - the juice is lovely still , and the shave foam is useable. I was happy paying 55 pounds for it . That’s great your dad used to wear it - he had class . Haven’t tried many on yr list - yet, but picked up Eau de Rochas just yesterday - v nice classy presentation which I enjoy . Armani Vintage...total class & posh. No one can possibly dislike it. A great projector....no, but you can go heavy on the sprays and it will be fine. Fabulous and worth paying for the vintage IMO,

This too is my all time favorite fragrance and luckily I do have the original (80% full) and it's just simply an amazing fragrance! This will go down as the THE most classic men's fragrance in my book and I highly recommend all men to try it!
It was an instant memory when I first got my vintage bottle recently, then I bought a bunch more, it’s so fantastic, the spices citrus and light green soapy smell is amazing

Cool list. Armani Eau Pour Homme is also my #1 citrus fragrance followed by Givenchy de Monsieur (1959) which I think you should try as it is also a very high quality citrus, even the vintage bottles can be had for pretty cheap.

@@oldiesgeek454 I own several ADP's and have sampled a decent amount from the brand. Bergamotto would be my favorite with Cipresso di Toscana being a close second. I live in a climate with warm weather year round so Bergamotto really works for me I tried a sample of Essenza but was indifferent to it, didn't love it and didn't hate it. I bought a bottle of Colonia Intensa because I liked that over Essenza and the classic Colonia. I've been burned by blind buying so I really recommend sampling everything first. Scentsplit and Myfragrancesamples have ADP samples relatively cheap so I would definitely test out a couple of scents before committing to a full bottle.
eau de rochas is a pleasure to wear spring/summer season -- I also really like eau sauvage and will give a shout out to two of its flankers; cologne & extreme
Awesome list. Love Dior Eau Sauvage a true classic my favorite summer scent. Armani Pour Homme was one of the first scents I bought in high school, just a clean amazing scent. If I could add one other citrus classic is Rochas Moustache 1949

Kelan, what's the batch code of your Armani from the video? Mine is from 2011, maybe the last production with old design and it has beast mode projection and VERY VERY soapy, almost unpleasant. I like the 2006 version much better.

Lollll well 4711 probably is, but in my opinion it’s majority Neroli scent and lasts about .4711 seconds 😂 As for ysl pour Homme I love the stuff and the fact that it’s in the American psycho monologue scene is a huge plus lol

I'm not an expert, in fact still at the beginning of my 'fragrance journey' lol, but I'll try to describe it: It has a really fresh, clean citrussy, grass-like opening and sweeter, floral undertones with a hint of musk. It's a light fragrance, but it has a luxurious vibe without being in your face about it. Definitely would recommend it!

I wanted to love that one but it just has this harsh floral scent and it was almost cleaning fluid level, didn’t last long in the slightest bit either and I had the whole body line too

Acqua Di Parma's Bergamotto di Calabria is an excellent citrus scent with slightly better performance then Colonia.
