Ok so I don't always make comments on youtube but I really needed you to know that this recipe is wonderful. Dolmas are such a labor of love and I would rather cook a 5-6 hour biryani than wrap 40 of these but they were SO SO delicious once done that its worth the effort. I'm about to make it again today to keep as snacks in the fridge. I honestly think your recipe turned out more delicious than the dolmas I've had at some of the Arabic restaurants! Thank you for sharing. I will be making dolmas more frequently since your recipe is so tasty and delicious.

Dolmathakia: Can be made with meat or without. Every family's different. And you can be cooked ahead of time or done as a whole like other stuffed dishes. However it would not be Dolmathakia miss out the rice, lemon, grape leave. With that said just enjoy what you like. And don't criticize others for liking something different. Just eat and be happy.

Why i am saying because name of the recipe is dolma so turkish.
How long you leave it to cook?? Can you make the minced meat beforehand then stuff the leaves?? Also helps to take out the leave stocks roots at bottom of leaf - they get stuck in your throat! Inshallah I'll make this recipe for me & hubby! Good to have this with side dish then usual Pakistani food, although I luv my Pakistani food dishes and biryani!

Turkish people often cooks it especially for special occasions even in funerals. I hope one day u could come to Turkey and try all of our perfect food and learn our amazing culture 👌🏽
Newsflash! The Greeks and the Arabs had an extensive food culture way before the Turks migrated from Central Asia to the region of the Eastern Mediterranean. This tradition of wrapping meat, herbs and rice in grape leaves and stuffing them in vegetables has been part of Hellenic Greek culture for centuries. Also it should be noted that food history clearly identifies this method of cooking as originating in the palace cooking of the Byzantine emperors. As Constantinople was the center of the Byzantine Empire for over a thousand years
Turkish/ ottoman food culture was an amalgam of several Eastern Mediterranean food cultures that primarily extracted from Greek, Persian, Armenian and levantine Arab food cooking and techniques. The Turks were not an indigenous people from this region of the world but migrated from Central Asia. And learned local food customs through the centuries. Claiming that this is Turkish food is incorrect.
