I heard that if you get the ka24de from a frontier, it fits in just fine. Already has rear pump, and oil pan already works and clears. Have you heard this or know to be true?
Im 2 years late but .. I have a 240sx s13 and its really hard to find Cheap engines anymore so ? Can i put a truck engine (frontier or harbody) engine in my car and if so what do i have to do to make it work!

I would love to have that beefy support girdle on the bottom end but the fab work for the pan and oil pickup was just too much. Then again, I am looking at 275-300ish,,,,you guys going for 500 (INSANE) HP. I can't wait to see this thing RIP IT! PS:::::: PLEASE grind them BB's from the weld off the bracket. OCD kicking in more than anything right about now. Again,,,,,,another cool hangout! ;)
Hey bud og Subscriber with 96 Hardbody and 89 240sx KA24E. What motor brackets, motor mounts a trans mount did use?.i was told truck bracket on 240sx mount, but trust and value your opinion.
Hey I'm considering this exact thing, 89 sx engine in a 96 hardbody. Did you complete the swap? Curious how it went and if there's certain things that aren't compatible, or anything else to watch out for
I literally just put an 89 240sx KA24E into a 96 hardbody. I used this video to figure out the oil pan. But for the motor mounts I used hardbody brackets and mounts. I used the hardbody transmission. When mounting the engine bolt up the bellhousing first then the motor mounts, then the trans mount. There will be a little bit of stretch in the motor mounts but its fine.
ME: Hey Ronnie! What's the measurements on that oil pick up bracket? RONNIE: Ohhhhhh,,,,about 2mm passed the polar bears ass!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!! Great info fellas!
Really excited about this build. I've got an extended cab '95 Hardbody with a KA and a 5 speed that I'm about to start building. Wish you guys were on Facebook though. I don't do Instagram.

We have never ran a de. We love the single cam!
The motor in my d21 is from a single cam 240sx. There are a few small differences but nothing major.
My favorite part of the video is the jump cut at 10:43 to avoid showing the fire 😂😂
We like fire but its frowned upon on CZcams 🤣

No idea. You could just get the whole harness and ecu from the de and that should work

id clean the weld splatter on that bracket off it might go in your motor..just saying
