Back in 1991, I bought a Santa Marsala and locked myself in my room for two weeks to learn the acordeon. I did learn from your playing, but I can never sound like you. You are a treasure! We met you and spoke with you in Harlingen, TX when you were touring with Tish Hinojosa. I remember that night as if it were yesterday. rod

Simply fantastic. The best 2 row player in TexMex/Conjunto style. Unilke many players, the entire accordeon is used, treble and bass. Bravo! Please post more tunes. Please make more CD's. Others have asked which boxes you play, and when. G/C, Bb/Eb, C/F ???? I think it is time for a Santiago Jr. endorsed 2 row Hohner Erica. I'll be first in line. Thanks
Many famous acordeonistas such as Valerio Longoria, Eugenio Abrego, Narciso Martínez and Antonio Tanguma DID play the left hand chords but they didn't get recorded since the left hand was out of range of the microphone.

Rosario Perez . this is not flacos dad this is his younger brother. (But this guy plays the acordion. With more charisma. Flaco is great .but he puts to much greve. On his music. Santiago nice and plane with not to much greve. ( gravey)
That Polka " VIVA SEGUEN " is my all time favorite . Everyone has a favorite song & that's mine. I grew up going to polka dances in south Texas. Those were the days my friends.
