This video is a quick instruction on the Linked Double Crochet (Ldc) in the round with a join. Joining the linked double crochet can be tricky and this is the way I have come up with that works without gaps.

Thank you for this instruction of joining the round. I used the smallest hooksize available for the last stitch in order to keep the gap as small as possible, and it worked fine.

I have used your method and completed the row with an invisible slip stitch and it looks perfect. Invisible slip stitch is worked from back to front....remove hook from yarn, slip hook back to front in first stitch of round pick up yarn and pull through
