It certainly looks good, but just looking at it tells me that they didnt do much planning into actual gameplay and combat. Shame because it looks like it had some serious potential

Capcom has to do another Spawn with the Devil May Cry 5 development team and a Dante and Vergil crossover would be a very nice peice of DLC for this dream Spawn game of mine
I really hope you enjoy it but being a huge spawn fan of comics and the animated series this game was just not there for me. It freezes constantly making you loose huge amounts of progress because the save points are so spread out plus the entire weird redcon points of the comics for certain characters
I've heard that the Angry Video Game Nerd enjoyed Spawn Armageddon very much, just watch the video of him reviewing the Spawn games and you'll see what he liked it.
Spawn Armageddon is great for me. Spawn Armageddon and spawn for the SNES are the two best spawn games they ever made. Believe it or not spawn Armageddon used for the GameCube is $70 and up but for the PS2 it's only $25. If anyone could buy spawn Armageddon for the GameCube I suggest you purchase one. I have one, I bought it last year online.
My original Xbox died recently, and I tried to replay this game on my 360 again, I used to have very low opinion about this game, and now after replaying it, I have even lower opinion about this game... it's so awful I can only force myself through this game with cheats, Spawn can't even block, and the levels in hell are ridiculous, it's the worst game I ever played.
@@RETROORDIE To be fair I think the art design was fine, there are some nice detail like when Spawn glide his axe actually transform into cape and change back when he land like in the opening scene, Todd McFarlane seems to be the one in charge of this game, he know his art style very well, but I don't think he knows how to make video game at all.
I like this game a lot but I will admit it does have issues but it's 10x better then the other spawn games (besides "in the demons hands" because that is also good)
Citadel of heaven looks awful in the game and the platforming became way too much difficult when you have to use both chain and Cape to glide from buildings to buildings.not worth my time.
Ya it was a pretty bad experience overall lol I have a series I have been doing after reviews called the aftermath and it’s where I give my overall raw thoughts after beating a game before I write the full review and it goes up after the review and the one for this game is pretty good
True, but Devil May Cry was definitely out and because so many games copied that style. God Of War was the closest to perfecting the style was my point. The formula of those type of games those two are what stand out most. Spawn could have done that but failed.
Was ok, just don't like the mechanics for the jump/chain swing thing.
Would spend about an hour trying to get him to jump up a level, was ridiculous.

"Spawn In the Demon's Hand" I heard was decent.
It’s not god awful but it’s deff not a spawn game, it’s room to room brawler almost but in 3d

I remember this game back on n 2004 I liked it 7.5/10 I was like 17 I'm still gonna pick it back up for the gamecube and the og xbox
