    8mm socket do undo 4 screws. The LED Fog lights will need to be clocked so LED chips face 9 and 3 o clock to sides as H11 connector faces at 4 o clock on the fog lights vs straight down 6 o clock on H11 headlights. The Foglight will require aiming 4” below the center line of the Foglight at 25’ away from vertical wall. The H11 LED bulbs should be close or 2” below center line headlight at distance 25’ away from vertical wall.

    I have a 2016.5 Mazda CX-5. My left headlight keeps flickering. I don't think the bulb is bad cuz it would stay on and solid for like 10-15 seconds then suddenly shut off then go back on again. Then stay on for like most of my drive then be okay. How do I check to make sure the power connection is solid? It looks hard to get to the left headlight. You showed the right one here

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 7 lety

      What you are experience could indeed be a power distribution issue. The best way to approach this would be to get your vehicle's battery checked to ensure it is not underperforming.
      However, this could also be a bulb or ballast issue. In order to pinpoint the problem you could just simple swap the bulbs. If the issue follows the bulb over to the opposite side, it is a bulb problem. If it stays on the same side with the unmoved ballast, it would be a ballast issue.

    • @PrecisionLED

      Are you installing HIDs or LEDs? The issue you are experiencing sounds like an HID issue, as the bulbs will flicker when interfering with your DRL system. However, our LED bulbs do not flicker, as they are designed to dim, exactly as your DRLs do.

    • @PrecisionLED
      @PrecisionLED  Před 6 lety

      Thank you for your interest. You do not typically have to adjust your headlight cutoff after installation. However, there is typically a screw on the back of your housing you can twist to adjust the cutoff line if you feel necessary.

    • @downhillskier7
      @downhillskier7 Před 8 měsíci +1

      10mm wrench or socket to adjust screw clock wise to lower, counter clockwise to rise beam pattern. Measure from dot or center of headlight to ground. On flat level ground 25’ ft from vertical wall, beam pattern should be 2 inches below the center of the headlight bulb center. Foglight beam pattern 25’ ft from vertical wall on level ground should be 4” inches below Foglight bulb center height. Loosen with 10mm socket screw slide forward to raise beam pattern or rearward to lower beam pattern. LED H11 bulbs must be clocked so LED faces horizontal at 9 and 3 o clock to produce cutoff line in reflector housing or you will have scattered beam pattern in Foglight at 25’ away from vertical wall!

    Hi,,,can the fog lights of the same cx5 be aligned or adjusted?? ,,is there a screw for that ?

    • @downhillskier7
      @downhillskier7 Před 8 měsíci +2

      The fog light adjustment screw requires a 10mm socket to loosen the screw, slide forward to raise beam pattern and rearward to lower beam pattern as it pivots at the top on both sides. LED H11 bulb will need to be clocked because connector is at 4 o clock and should face downwards at 6 o clock. LED chips should face 9 and 3 o clock when view from the front to produce correct beam pattern in reflector housing at 25’ away from a vertical wall. Measure the height of Foglight bulb from center to ground at 25’ away from a vertical wall Foglight should be 4” inches below Foglight center line.
